Good read. I really enjoyed the ease of building community with the suggestions in this book. It really is about noticing, praying, showing up and loving. Whether you have a table or not.

Enjoyable read

I love this book! If you want to know and connect with your neighbors and community, read this book. It gives you all the instruction you need. It's easy. Purchase a picnic table, paint it turquoise, and put it in your front yard. Sit at the table with your coffee, or bible study, or your crafts or whatever helps you to relax and reflect. Someone you know or don't know will start a conversation and you're off and running. Listening is the key to friendships, old and new. I'm starting my own Front Yard Table experience and can't wait to make new friends and connect with my community. I suggest you read this book and start your own neighbor experience. Community is a display of love.

Great book about how to get to know your neighbors. This is the second copy of this book that I have bought now. I gave the first copy to a neighbor who is now a good friend of mine!

The book itself is beautiful and it contains some great ideas, but it could've been a blog post for all the actual writing it contains.

This book inspired me to put a Turquoise Table in my own front garden. Kristin is very honest and open in it and answered all my own hopes and fears. Every community needs a Turquoise Table.

Bought it, opened it, returned it. It’s got very few recipes, no index, a lot of words about tables, and God.

Loved it & will read it again!
