Beautiful 1930s look telephone
This is a review for the black retro telephone with the 1930s look to it. It is visually very beautiful with a black matte finish and a good weight to it (very sturdy). When testing it to make a call I found the sound quality of the call to be very clear and a good volume. Unfortunately I had to return this beautiful telephone because the ringing sound was very low and didn't sound like a vintage rotary telephone. I don't know if the ringer was faulty or it was meant to be like that, because we all have various levels of hearing (I have slight hearing loss). I was very sad to have to return it because how it looks was just what I wanted.

Brilliant
Very retro. Love the idea of buying an old fashioned phone. Unlike the original dial, it is push button which connects you quicker to emergency numbers and call those you need to. Bare in mind this depends on the network your on and how much it would cost you!! So look around for the best contracts you are on

Works and ...
Works well and fits with my 1940s feel of home (yep, purposeful design). I know having a landline means that it disappears when the Internet does, but if someone needs to reach me and I've forgotten to charge my mobile phone, they still can. So, it's still worth it for me to have a landline. Plus, I don't have to remember to take the phone up to the bedroom with me. I can have a phone next to the bed for an emergency in the night. I guess for people whose phones are attached to their bodies that these are not issues, I prefer to use an iPad and my mobile phone is just for phone calls or searching the net when I'm away from home.
