This updated unit works great! Pi's work great!
TL;DR: This updated unit works great for mounting your Raspberry Pi's (I used 4b unit's) into your rack. Just make sure you remove the CPU heatsink off so that the PoE hat fits on top.I picked up this updated unit after reviewing online a variety of options. This all in one unit hit all of the points that I required, rack mount / poe / 4+ units. The reviews on the older versions was hit or miss but the reviews and questions/answers all made it sound like Uctronics worked to improve the unit based on feedback form users. I took the chance. When the unit arrived everything looked fine. I opened my first tray and slide it into the slot and screwed in the first button and it worked and went for the second button and it did not. It was slightly off on one side ultimately I found out. Before I became disappointed I tried the second tray and it worked fine, I then proceeded to test the last three trays and they all worked fine. Okay so 4 trays out of 5 are functional. I contacted the seller (Uctronics) via Amazon and informed them of my discovery and they requested a picture. I submitted a picture and they sent me 2 replacement trays (I think since I sent them a picture of a working tray and the non-working tray they thought I had 2 non-working trays). I informed them that I only needed 1 tray but now I have a extra tray.Circling back to the system. I mounted 2 raspbery pi's into it and all worked fine. I am using a Navpoint 12U rack and the unit mounted with ease. I inserted the 2 pi's and screwed them in and plugged into my switch and powered them up. No issue discovered.I did have some difficulty with getting the display to work on my unit but with the help of the message with Uctronics they provided guidance on how to get the display working. They even updated this listing and their own website with the info you need to find the display on their git. The only problem I found with the display is that the script that they have you write to have it start on boot is missing the #!/usr/bash shell part at the beginning. That part caused me some time to figure out.I am a happy camper with my system and would encourage anyone that is looking for this unit to give it a try if it matches their needs.Attached are 5 images of my unit. Rack mounted as well as the replacement trays that they shipped to me. I did have to move over the power button, LCD screen and protective cover from the defective tray to the replacement tray.

They work for more than advertised...
So I don't leave a lot of reviews, but this one was calling for it. The item arrived a few days earlier than expected. Upon receiving I checked as I wanted to ensure that they were not damaged in transit. The packaging keeps them well protected. When going to use these I happened across one of my older Raspberry Pi's that happened to be an old 2 B+ model. Now these say that they are for the 3 and 4 versions. Figured the worst that may happen is it 1) doesn't fit at all or 2) shorts the pie out and being that old gives me a reason to buy a new one. To my great delight it worked fine on a 2 B+. Note: The 2 B+ does not have the pins for the POE function, but I don't run a POE switch anyways so wasn't worried about that. The display though worked fine! Speaking of the display, they created this to run on the standard version of Raspbian. I can attest it is easily adapted to also work without issue on DietPi. Currently running 9 Pi's for various server functions from FlightAware, Home Assistant, Plex, RTL-SDR receiver, and more. Two of these in a six up rack along with a shelf, power strip, and switch really cleaned up the mess. All of the hats worked, all the sleds mounted into the casing just fine, fit the rack perfectly. All I can say is if you are a serious Raspberry Pi user then this is an amazing way to showcase your setup and keep track of everything you have running!

Halfway to perfect. Maybe next revision will get there
I want to love this product, but its annoyances have me regretting my purchase. The concept is great, but the build quality is very much lacking. I can get over with how thin and easy to bend the metal is because once it's all put together, I won't be messing with it a lot. I don't feel like the price matches this build quality. But here is my wish list for v3.1. Fan vibration isolation. Put some silicon or rubber washers on the fan mount so that the vibration doesn't cause the whole thing to make noise. The vibration noise actually transferred to a shelf I have mounted above this enclosure. I had to isolate this enclosure both above and below to prevent it from making more noise.2. Use properly fitting spacers/standoffs for the mounting of the RPi and PoE HAT to the mounting plate. The rattle these make because of them being loose only serve to contribute to the vibration noise from the fan.3. Slide guides for the mounting bracket into the rack. After mounting everything and sealing up the rack I found it very difficult to remove one of the mounting brackets because it wasn't positioned well in the rack, ended up bending the front of the mounting bracket a lot only to find out that I needed to push down a little for it to slide out.4. Pre-thread the holes better. I found lining up and screwing in all the screws to be cumbersome because the holes for the screws weren't pre-threaded very well.Other than the fan noise the PoE HAT is great! Very well designed and laid out. The OLED and Power button are also pretty decent. I wish I could choose the color of the power button light though.
