Great computer for the price
Have not had any issues and the computer preforms well in many benchmarks. Only negative for some - 3D graphics fail on some tests, so gamers might need a better video card. I use it for office work, and it fills my needs perfectly.

A Cyper monday purchase
Due to Microsoft dropping support for Win 7, as of January 2020, I needed to replace my wife's 7 year old, home built computer. I decided to buy one this go around. So after months of research, using all resources, I settled on the HP Pavilion 590-p0070. It had all the right specs, that my wife needed. Now I started looking for the best deal available.Good old AMAZON to the rescue. At the time they had the best price, but availability was dwindling and cyber Mondaywas away off, but decided to take my chances. Cyber Monday morning, went on line and bingo, so I pulled the trigger.Thank you Amazon. That day made the value of this computer rise and affordability with it. My wife got her Christmas present. The other advantage was, by using my Amazon.com card, I have 1 year 0% interest. My Christmas present. Now for the review.I would have given this system a 5 star, but for the DVD player issue.1st. Every reviewer that criticized the DVD player was correct. I can't believe a company with the resources of HP, would install a player so cheaply made on a computer with these specs. It was because of the specs, that I ignored that part of the reviews and purchased.2nd. Placed in its vertical position, vs horizontal, it is almost impossible to load a dvd, when the computer is under a work station vs on a desktop. We don't have space on top.In addition, I had one other problem, and that was this the system did not recognize the player. So I decided to call HP Support."KUDOS" to HP support. I know we hear a lot about customer dis-service, but this was not the case. It did take two phone calls. Both were answered quickly and the issue was resolved. On both calls, the Techs were friendly, concerned, and patient.Since then, we have enjoyed the flawless performance of this HP.It is silent in operation and extremely fast. Downloads and updates done in record time.Initial setup was straight forward for both Microsoft and HP updates. My peripherals and Internet were recognized by the system with no issues. My wife does like the wireless keyboard and mouse and is happy about her Christmas gift. She also like the look of the front panel. Thank goodness, Tough lady to buy for.The computer has been in continuous operation for about 7 weeks. Hopefully , like my home built, it also will last 7 years. There have been no issues. The DVD player works fine, and we are both extremely satisfied with this HP model and it performance.I don't know how long this model will be available, and other then the DVD player issue, I definitely recommend this HP model.

Fast and Good Looking
Just now in the process of setting this computer up. While it was delivered quickly, I have been otherwise engaged until now. This is a replacement for a previous HP Windows 7 computer that was not compatible with Windows 10, and so far seems great. The computer has a smaller footprint than my previous Pavilion tower and the speed is amazing. The 12GB RAM and the 1TB hard drive will more than suit my needs. Hopefully, when I have all my programs, data and virus protection installed it will continue to be much faster than the computer I am replacing.

Great all around PC (Work and gaming)
I work from home and this PC does everything I need. I am also a casual gamer and had to upgrade the graphics card to really play anything. I installed a GTX 1660 Ti which was really easy just make sure you buy a 6 pin to 8 pin power adapter.
