Simple, direct, effective. Not for advanced learners
This is for your child if...They like things simple and easy to understand. They struggle with focus. They can only handle one page of that subject a day.The book is simple and effective for my son. He just turned 9 and is nearing the end of 3rd grade. He is 100% schooled at home. He loves doing these workbooks. He always feels accomplished at the end. The book is easy to understand. It has one page for each day. There is a tracker and an answer key. Very good for building confidence with self directed work. It is a great book for busy work.I recommend this book so much but if your child enjoys really challenging work then I wouldn’t suggest this book.

Pretty Good, but a few things...
We have been using the 180 Days books in home school from last year to this year. So I have all of 1st, 2nd, and 3rd grade. Most of the books are really great, and I'm grateful for a source to turn to.The problem solving books are a bit too confusing in places. They ask different questions that need almost the same answer multiple times, so my kids get confused and frustrated feeling like they must be doing something wrong. As an adult I feel the same way when trying to work out some of the problems in these books. So I'm no longer going to be using the Problem Solving books. The Math books are good practice/review, however it doesn't focus and teach one type of math at a time. Every page is a combination of many different types of math. We often come across math that they haven't learned yet. Though it is an opportunity for me to teach them something new, it doesn't penetrate deep enough for long term memory when only one problem is focused on that particular type of math. So this book alone is not enough in my opinion. I still have them work in it every day so I can get an idea of where they are at and where I need to focus.

A Math Fairy Godmother for 3rd Graders: 180 Days of Problem-Solving Workbook
The '180 Days of Problem-Solving' workbook is like a math-loving fairy godmother for 3rd graders. Whether you're homeschooling, teaching in a classroom, or just trying to keep your kiddo's brain from turning to summer mush, this workbook's got your back. It's packed with fun math challenges—geometry, word problems, multiplication, you name it.What I love most? It keeps kids engaged and tracks their progress with daily worksheets. It's like a little math coach cheering them on every day. Plus, it works wonders for those who might be struggling, boosting their confidence one problem at a time.I give this gem a solid 4.8 stars. It's perfect as an entry task, morning work, or whatever you want to call that "keep 'em busy" time. And the cherry on top? It includes charts and graphs to make tracking progress a breeze. Definitely a win in my book!
