I've been using the Microsoft Mobile 4000 for a very long time. No issues at all. Everything is in place and working great. I have knocked it off the desk many time with no breaks. The scroll wheel is super smooth. The side button is programmable to one of several choices. I use it to jump to desktop screen and back.It is a small mouse and is therefore suitable for travel. It is very light weight and easy to push around; it doesn't take much more energy than just pushing your hand; feels almost like the mouse isn't there and yet, it is.I have an average size hand I would say. I do not rest my hand on the mouse. I rest my palm on the mouse pad and my finger lay gently on the mouse. The buttons, including the side buttons are perfectly under my fingers and yet, I never press them by accident. The scroll wheel is so easy to get to without repositioning my hand. All it take to access the scroll wheel is a tiny movement with my index finger and as I said, the wheel is very smooth and feels good.Handling this mouse is like putting my hand on a kitten. I have complete control of everything and yet I touch the mouse with the softest of touch and energy. It is really a gentle mouse control. Anyone with weak or sore hands could manage this mouse without having to strain at all and this is because of the light weight and that the buttons and wheel are so perfectly located and so easily actuated. Once you have your hand on this mouse, everything you need is in position so only fractional movements are used to engage with the buttons and wheel.The battery life is very good. I think I may change the batter twice per year at most and I never turn it off. A red light comes on when the battery warns you and it still continues for many days so you have plenty of time to get a new battery if you do not have any at the time.The screen movement is very good and the screen scrolling is ultra smooth. You may need to configure the mouse settings in Windows to get the speed and precision you want, but it only take a minute to set that up and it is built into the drivers. You can also click the scroll wheel on a webpage and then slide the mouse forward and backward to scroll the page and it is a smooth scroll also.If you move the mouse slowly, it barely moves so you can precisely point the mouse and when you want to jump to a far location on the screen, a small, but swift movement causes the pointer to accelerate exponentially. It is a terrific mouse in a very simply form with one customizable button on the side.In short, this is a perfect simple mouse. I have had mine for over 4 years with no issues. I am a programmer and therefore, I am on the computer all day 5 days a week.

I absolutely love this mouse! I have been using it for school for about a year and a half and am only on the second battery, I have left it on overnight numerous times and still get amazing battery life. This thing is a juggernaut when it comes to battery life! My first battery lasted about a year. It is very small and portable, I like that the usb dongle actually inserts flush into the bottom of the mouse for storage, although I usually just leave it in the laptop since it is so small. This mouse is surprisingly comfortable considering how little it is. I have dropped this mouse off of tables many times and it is still running strong. It works on every surface that I have tried it on, including glass.Pros:- Small and portable- Comfortable to use (at least for me)- Dongle stores inside the mouse so it won't get lost- Dongle is so small it is hardly noticeable when in the computer and does not interfere with my case- Has worked with every computer I have put it in, usually it works right away even though it says it is installing drivers, though I have not used it in a mac- Button on side of mouse is handy, I guess it can be set to perform different functions, but I have not tried yet. From the factory thumb button goes back when surfing the web and can come in handy sometimes- There is a light on the top to let you know when the battery is dying (blinking red) or when the mouse turns on (green)- Well made quality construction- Great battery life, common battery (one AA)Cons:- This mouse may be a bit small if you have large hands- If you are a battery salesman you will not like this mouse as it doesn't burn through batteries very quickly

Both my Macbook Pro and iMac perform terribly with foreign mice and Apple's "mighty mouse" performance is pretty bad in my opinion. As such, this has turned out to be an excellent performing mouse that addressed that issue completely. Not only does the mouse perform excellently but the Microsoft drivers allow it to function like a normal, proper mouse should (even when being used with a Mac). It only takes a few seconds of tweaking the settings after installing the driver and you're good to go.This proved to work so well that I eventually got two of these. I have the smaller version for my laptop (had it for almost 2 years now without any issues) and later got this bigger one for the iMac. I do feel like a bit of a sucker paying $20+ for something as basic as a mouse... but that's life I suppose. Considering how much it improves my experience when working on either Mac, it's well worth every penny.Anyway, as far as this mouse goes...1) Battery life is quite good ( I don't think I replace the rechargeable battery I use more than once a month)2) Ergonomically they're pretty good3) The performance (of the little blue laser) is very good but won't work *everywhere* but will work quite well on many surfaces.4) It's easy to switch on and off5) The USB "fob" is extremely tiny and quite elegant6) The USB "fob" stores very neatly into the bottom of the mouseWhat else is there? It naturally works just as you'd expect with a PC but the real magic happens when you install the drivers, tweak the settings for a moment and use this with a Mac. Bliss.

Me encantó, es muy bueno, lo único es que como lo usu diario y casi 8 horas , la pila se acaba en un mes , hay que comprar varias pilas jeje , pero es muy como para trabajar

Microsoft wireless mouse is a nice choice.

Ever since I bought my first mouse with a back (and fwd) button in the late 90's, I can't use one without it. It's becoming rare that mouse with that feature. I have small hands and am more comfortable using a "laptop" mouse. This one is always perfect. The rubber shell and the rubber wheel swell eventualy making this mouse not very durable. That's why I'm on my 3rd one. I just buy a new one every few years. Most people spend most time on the internet when they are on the computer and the most often used button is the "back" button. That's the reason I don't use iPhone because IOS don't have "back" button.

10年以上、通算5回ほど購入して使い続けている愛機。自分の手と指の位置にはこのマウスが一番いい。軽くて小さく小回り利くマウスが好きな方は、気にいるかもしれません。
