We are making our 2 year old a Lego table & They were exactly what we needed! Ordering more!

I can’t imagine why the description says you can “cut to fit” the size you want. This is a pretty brittle plastic and seems like it would just crack if a scissor were taken to it. Since we’d use it on a table or the floor, the fact that it’s thin isn’t all that important, but what is a concern is that the name brand Duplo blocks we have don’t fit perfectly on the dots. You can make it work (and then it’s kind of hard to pull off) but a two-or-three-year-old isn’t going to have the patience or dexterity to have it work well. I haven’t decided whether to return it - I’ll check out the Lego brand baseplate first (some reviews I’ve read of those haven’t been all that complimentary, either) before I decide.
