K&N Cold Air Intake System: High-Flow Air-Filter, Increase Performance & Horsepower: Compatible with 2013-2015 ACURA ILX; 2012-2015 HONDA Civic Si, 69-1019TS

Works beautifully! Simplicity at its best and step by step instructions on how to install. Just needed some trimming on the heat shield rubber sealant and one of the vacuum lines. No needing to relocate anything under the hood. The only issue I ran into was the coupler for the downward funnel was a tad-bit too small and ended up crimping the plastic funnel... This caused it to pop off constantly even when tightened down. Just had to modify the funnel and it fit perfectly. Where it bent I simply took some cutters and snipped where it crimped and applied superglue to the rim of the funnel. It's not going anywhere now :POverall I highly recommend this intake over any other one on the market!

This intake sounds GREAT, really seams to allow the engine to breath better. But I can't say I really feel any noticeable power increase. I installed a Borla Cat-Back exhaust on the same day as I installed this and have seen a 2-3mpg increase. Installation was pretty easy, it took me about 2hrs start to finish. The only issue I had was with the mounting screw for the housing, very tight fit, hard to get threads started and could only get about 1/8 turn to the screw each time with the wrench. Also don't over tighten the hose clamp to the stock cool air inlet, after driving when the car heats up it will collapse the plastic tube. Overall I am very happy with this product.

Put this on my '12 Civic SI right after I purchased the car and what a difference. Not in performance(that I can notice), but in sound. It really opens the motor up. Still quiet when you want it to be but bellows when you get past half throttle. I paired this with a throttle body spacer and cat back exhaust. Makes a huge difference on the car. Better gas mileage as well. Adding the spacer gives it a little whistle. Highly recommended. Install took roughly 1 hour without any special tools. Have had it on for 3 months and no problems, no check engine lights. Very pleased.

Experiencing frustration with a recent purchase can be disheartening. The journey from ordering a cold air intake, navigating delivery issues, to discovering scratched and bent parts upon opening the box must have been incredibly disappointing. Investing nearly $400 and receiving what seems to be a used and damaged product adds to the frustration. It's unfortunate when expectations aren't met, especially when dealing with automotive upgrades. Giving the product a 0-star rating reflects the extent of dissatisfaction with the overall experience.

I recommend this item! I was concerned that the check engine light would turn on when I installed it my self since I have the stock ECU. As a few weeks have past by from installing the intake no check engine light has turned on. I can definitely notice a small gain of power on the Si. I also love how it sounds. I recommend it to others!

Took about an hour, maybe a little more but the instructions are simple to follow.Noticeable difference right away. Makes the car more responsive and the sound is nice, deep, and full.Make sure you take care of the air filter and clean it. The filter is easy to take off.If you’re looking for a quick upgrade that won’t mess with your warranty, then I highly recommend this product.

Heat soak is pretty bad.

First off, it sounds AWESOME when you put your foot to the floor...you can really hear the VTEC kick in yo! Gives a bit of a boost, noticeable gains when tuned for. I've always bought K&N filters, this is my first intake from them, and I'm very happy with the build quality and everything, but my one complaint is that there seems to be a a few more pieces than I expected for an intake, but simple to assemble and install nonetheless. That, and the intake air temps can get 35+ degrees above ambient if you are in stop and go traffic in the summer, but this is a short ram, it's unavoidable. Then again, I installed this the week a hurricane hit and drove through water starting to seep under the doors, and didn't hydrolock...they have their upsides, too!

I installed this kit on a 2012 Honda Civic SI. The installation was fairly straightforward but I gave it a four instead of a five because the directions it could be a little better. You constantly need to flip back to the diagram to see which part they are talking about but if you have general mechanical ability it should be no problem. This kit is fantastic, I can’t describe how awesome the sound is compared to the stock air filter. I do Believe there is a mild power increase but I didn’t do an official timing of the car acceleration stock compared to the kit installed. For me it’s all about the sound, it definitely sounds more powerful. Your wife will be relieved that during normal driving it sounds completely stock it’s only when you floor it that the sound really comes alive. You will not regret getting this kit!

Great filter setup, easy to install. And it sounds great ! Getting worse gas milage though - by 0.5-1 L/100 kms. Maybe it's my foot tho ☺
