Not a Lab-Created, Color Changing Alexandrite - Don't be duped
TRUTH! I have no reason to lie. Silvershake sells the same ring, in the same setting in different Lab-Created stones (check for yourself). This ring was sold as a stand alone; The title on the page says it all: "Silvershake Petite Simulated Color Change Alexandrite and White Cubic Zirconia 925 Sterling Silver" Ring. While, This ring is a cute, petite ring. It is not the ring ADVERTISED by SILVERSHAKE. If you want, I'll take a picture of this ring in every possible light and you will see it is, at best a lab created Amethyst, NOT A COLOR CHANGING ALEXANDRITE! I have owned a REAL Alexandrite; I was 10, given as a birthday gift by my grandparents and it was a REAL STONE & it changed color from a ruby, rosy purply color to an almost olive green; I loved it. Later in life, I realized the actual rarity and WORTH of a Real Alexandrite, which I owned until our house burned down in 1988. Amazon, I only wanted to replace a memory by purchasing this inexpensive ring. Instead, I've been Dissed by you, Amazon by the rejection of my honest review while I am sick---On top of everything, I have the COVID19 Virus right now. It's not the money; it's the LIE that angers me and that Amazon didn't post it my 1st honest review. I am not a bot. I didn't curse. I told the truth. Let's see if this one makes it through.

So pretty. UPDATE dont buy. Band is rusting
UPDATE: changing my stars from 5 to 1. The first ring broke in a few weeks. The second we have had a few months and it's all turning colors on the band, a Green rust color. Sad and wish I would have not bought it and should not have re bought it even after the first broke. My daughter loves this ring. So happy with it so far! Its beautiful and changes colors

I Am Amazed by this ring!
Absolutely love this lab simulated Alexanderite! Its my birth stone so I decided to gift myself a sobriety ring!If you don't know anything about Alexanderite and its color changing affects i advise doing a little research before purchasing just so you wont be "disappointed" with how it changes colors and clarity. Alexanderite doesn't just change colors from the light but also from the wearer and their health/ energy. Its a really personal gem and if you are looking for something inexpensive but beautiful this is the ring for you!Posted a collage of the different color changes it has and more that I wasn't able to capture by camera

Such a good deal for such a pretty ring
This is a pretty little ring. Very danty. It's comfortable and so light you hardly notice you're wearing anything. It sparkles.

Nice ring
Nice ring, you get what you pay for. The color changes from gray to purple to aquamarine (I was surprised too!) but after wearing for a month, the ring started to get a bit cloudy and lost its shine. I think maybe the stone is soft and doesn't hold up well to even light wear and tear, as I take the ring off if I think the ring will get damaged or in the way. I like this ring for myself, but wouldn't re-buy or recommend.

I like it
Very cute, very small and dainty. Doesn't turn finger green. Colors do change between a sort of pink-purple, blue-green, and a vaguely greenish Grey. They Grey seems most common which I don't mind (like a dark diamond almost) because it's nice but I couldn't take a picture of it because it shows up differently on camera. It actually always looks more vivid in photos so it will be a more subtle change in person.. if you're looking for something dramatic you may be disappointed.

Cracked
When I first got the ring, i thought it was really cute dainty ring and was perfect to wear on vacation. The center stone is around a half carat. It changes between a light pink color and a light blue similar to an aquamarine. Wore it while I was on vacation for 5 days and a couple days in between then and now.I've had the ring for about 3 weeks (worn about 7 days) and noticed that there's a large crack next to one of the prongs.

Beautiful ring
This ring is subtle and beautiful. The colors range from deep purple to teal to silver in different lights. I'm only giving it a 4/5 for a few reasons: I ordered two and one didn't color change to purple (mainly shifting from silver to teal). Also, this might have just been me but I couldn't get the sizing right. It's great that this ring comes in half sizes but unfortunately they didn't work out for me. Again, this could just be me and sizing seems to work nicely for other reviewers.

Love it!
I bought this for myself. It's not a dark stone so the colour change is soft, from light pink/purple to sea green. Very beautiful. Good quality - No trouble with daily wear. Very happy with this purchase.

Love it!
Your browser does not support HTML5 video. It is really hard to get the colour change in video but the blue is definitely more blue then the grey of this video makes it seem.
