I have used this book to prepare and practice for my CISA exam. This book makes complicated concepts very easy to understand and remember. It also has tons of questions for practice. The simple language and examples make it highly suitable for aspirants having little Audit background.

I recommend this book if you want to pass your CISA exam on your first try..very structured and detailed while focusing on CISA exams... the author also has learning videos in Udemy for which he provided more informations on the subject..

First of all this is not being written by a BOT. After reading through ISACA's CISA exam material and completing their online Q&A practice tests not once but twice I purchased this as another means of understanding the intent of the subject matter. Someone once told me that anyone can read a book and pass a test. That has never been my intent. It is also an untrue statement. This book, although having a few grammatical errors was very effective in cutting through the nonsensical and often confusing information needed to reach an understanding of the intent of the material. As stated I used source material from ISACA as well as ebook material from another source, and the all inclusive ALL-In-One prep material. All study/ prep resources had their intrinsic value however, this Study Guide had the added value of epistemology (the theory of knowledge, especially with regard to its methods, validity, and scope). Basically what I mean is that it enabled me to distinguish the difference between what was my justified belief in my level of understanding versus what my opinion had been prior to reading this study guide. Have I taken the CISA exam? Yes I have. Did I pass on my first attempt? Yes I did. Did this book enable me to accomplish that goal on the first attempt? Yes it did. I will not say that just using this source alone will allow others to accomplish the same as that would be based on each individuals own level of effort. I will say that this study guide aids in ease of understanding intent, concepts, processes and procedures entailed in learning and not just reading to pass the exam. To end this review I offer my recommendation of this as a source of understanding and if possible look up the author on Udemy for the CISA.

A brought this on recommendation from my course tutor and I've found it to be much better than the guide from ISACA. The information is well presented and is easy to read, and I like the fact there are some test questions to check your understanding as you go.

I had purchased the official ISACA book but found it extremely hard to read.This book helps you understand the concepts needed for the exam. The questions in the book are phrased similarly than the ones on the exam, though I found that the options given in the actual test are a lot harder.I cleared my exam on the first try by using this book+ the hermang doshi’s udemy courses + the 2 mock tests of his site, however, If I would do it again I would purchase Isaca’s QAE as well
