Use caution based on your dog...!
We recently got a new dog, she is a young 8 lb female chihuahua. She is very energetic and pulls when she goes on a walk so quickly we realized that a harness would be a better way to walk her versus a collar so it wouldn't yank her neck. After reading all the great reviews, I decided to go with this harness. The design is nice, it really seems well made and is very easy to put on, even for a dog who is usually jumping around a bit in excitement as we are getting ready for a walk. We have been using it for a few days now and were initially very pleased with it, however last night on our walk she was pulling.... in her tugging she backed up and pulled and slipped RIGHT OUT of this harness. I couldn't believe it...!! For a moment she seemed stunned too. She started to run, I had to chase and practically tackle her to stop her from running away. All while I'm dragging our other pup behind me, it was awful! So scary.Fortunately I was able to get her home safely but I am returning this harness. Maybe if your dog doesn't pull this could be a good harness (our other dog doesn't pull but he also walks just fine on a collar which is why we don't need to harness him). But if you have a dog that is a puller I would really be cautious, this design seems comfortable and as I mentioned is easy to put on but also just way too easy to get out of. Unfortunately I cannot recommend this product.

I really like this
I wasn’t sure what kind of harness to buy and my dog is at an awkward in between size since she’s 26 inches around the chest and still only 11 months old so I decided to go with this brand. Used it a few times already, nothing’s coming apart and it does a good job at holding her back when she tugs after a squirrel. I don’t like that it kinda shifts to the sides (I’ve never had a harness on a dog before so I don’t know if this is normal or not). But this is definitely a good quality product and I would definitely recommend this to others.

Great for a growing pup!
Our puppy is now 8 months (40 lbs) and we have had this harness since she was about 20 lbs. She is a border collie lab mix so she is crazy hyper, especially when we see other people/dogs on our walks, but it has held up well and adjusts well as she grows!

Both Harnesses Broke Within One Month!
The first PupTech harness broke on me within a month, so I ordered a second one. Today, not even a month later, the harness fabric snapped again! I have a very tame, 3-year-old, 21-pound Poddle Mix who does not pull in the least. We were walking along a busy road, and this could have been tragic. Please PupTech, stop making these harnesses. Dogs are going to die from the inferior nylon fabric you are using!

Runs big..
I ordered a medium based on the measurements provided, but it ran way too big. I ordered a small and returned the medium. I have a 25 pound pug with a pretty big chest, matched measurements listed for the medium, but the medium harness was too big.

we love this product and definitely recommend it to other buyers
First of all, we love this product and definitely recommend it to other buyers. We have a small 8.5 pound yorkie mixed breed and we were looking for a harness that would be able to wrap around some of his winter jackets/sweaters. We bought the small size harness. Although it is too large when it’s placed directly on my dog without any clothes, it fits perfect when used with his jackets. He looks very comfortable with the harness on and it doesn’t seem to restrict any leg movement when he’s walking around. It was a great investment and highly recommended.

Great high quality harness, easy to put on
I recently purchased a blue harness for my 1-year-old Yorkie who's approximately 11lbs and I'm so happy with my purchase. I have been attaching a retractable leash to my dog's collar when we go out on walks at the park, but just recently as I tried to retrain my dog to hold him back from running towards people/dogs...He kept resisting and was somehow able to slip out of his dog collar in which he bolted out of my sight, but luckily a stranger got a hold of my dog and was able to return him to me. As you can already imagine, this event nearly gave me a heart attack as a dog parent. Ever since that day, I swore to myself that I will never walk my dog using his dog collar again. Therefore, I had initially considered opting for the medium size so that he could possibly grow into it, but I'm glad I got a small because it fits him perfectly. There's even enough wiggle room that will enable me to make loosen it up in the future if my dog ever gains weight.

Sturdy, well made!
This works perfectly for our new “not so little anymore” rescue dog. She’s just recently finished her vaccinations and now we are ready to start her leash training in public. Though this is still a little big for her even adjusted all the way down, I feel confident that she can’t get out of it. There is still room to grow into it too. She is a 16 week old shepherd/lab mix weighing in at a whopping 26 pounds already. Get it... you’ll be happy you did.
