A little background on myself first — I am a camping newbie and I was told to get water shoes to walk around and swim in the lake by our campgrounds. I’m not experienced with purchasing water shoes but I read that the reviews were positive for using them at the beach and even just as a quick, casual walking or exercise shoe. I’m also flat-footed and have been learning more and more about “barefoot” shoes - which are just shoes that do not squish the toes of your feet as they have a wide toe box to protect the natural shape of our feet. Look at any toddler’s feet and how wide the toes spread. That’s how our feet should look! My feet have been heavily damaged from years of terrible women’s high heels and all regular brand name shoes having these narrow toe boxes. These days, I am very picky with what I put on my feet!COMFORT & SIZE — I must say I’m very impressed with the comfort and ease of these water shoes. They are very easy to slide on. I am normally a size 10 Wide but can sometimes fit into 9.5. I ended up purchasing 9.5 Women/8.5 Men. They fit perfectly! I had no issue with blisters or their breathability. My feet weren’t overly sweaty or hot on this trip wearing these.WATER USE — These shoes also did not come off my feet after over 2 hours of swimming in the lake. They also allowed little to no sand into the shoe so that I could walk to and from the lake in the sand. Little to no sand! That was a big plus for me as I grew up in Southern California and going to the beaches and have never really tried out water shoes just for walking to the beach. I’ve always used flip flops or nothing! This was very nice to have virtually no sand on my feet!STYLE- I loved the color of these water shoes and design. The toggles and wire keep the shoe on your feet while not looking too masculine or outdoorsy as a “camping shoe” or part of your “camping gear” They still feel as if I can go out casually wearing these or to the gym and they’d still be pretty cute. They seem very versatile and as I do not go camping often - I do plan to wear these cuties casually!I have no negative things to say about these water shoes! That being said, I’ve only used them once. I’ll be sure to revisit reviews to show their performance over time.

Better than hoped in terms of functionality and comfort! Quality seems good after a 5 day vacation of constant use. Stylish too. Great value.

These look and feel great so far. I am hoping they stand up to the test of time and different surfaces and locations. It fits true to size and doesn’t have much support as described.

I bought these for my most recent beach vacation and they worked perfectly. Loved the feel of them on my feet and the tread made them extremely handy when I needed to walk around a rocky area near the water. Great shoes for the price!

Finally something comfortable that I can walk in a lot longer than any other shoes. I've had surgery on both feet, very little natural Arch. Great for working, shopping, really anything. The quality is amazing. This particular type had a built-in tongue that wasn't annoying to have to pull out all the time. Great shoes.

Got these beach shoes right before a trip to Hawaii. The price was good and with 2 day shipping they got to my house in time for the trip. First thing I noticed was they came in a nice pouch with a slider to seal them. This is great when you are packing to come home to keep the inevitable sand they will have in them out of your luggage.I was a bit worried since the pouch has a size 46 (euro sizes) sticker on it but the shoes themselves had a size 45 tag on them. As it turned out I needn't have worried as they fit like a glove. They have LOTS of stretch so didn't feel cramped at all. The soles are supple but still firm enough that I was able to wear them across lava rock trails in long hikes to some pretty remote beaches. I did a bit of snorkeling in them as well and they were fantastic as I could walk right into the water with them on and come out at the end of my adventure and wear them on the beach. Weave is tight enough to not let much sand thru and the inserts come out to allow you to shake out the vast majority of the sand when they are dry (and they dry quickly).I have a family trip to a beach in the FL panhandle in a few weeks and will definitely put these to good use again at that time... both along the beach and on our SUPs. I'll also recommend them to the others that live in the Midwest and probably don't have good beach footwear.TL:DR these rock!

I purchased these to replace a pair I bought probably 10-15 years ago from a different company. Wow!!! so much more comfortable. I love the shape because they're roomy where the toes go. They seem well made. I normally wear a size 9 1/2-10. Based on reviews, I purchased the 9.5 and they fit perfectly. I was skeptical about purchasing because I normally want arch support in my shoes but these seem fine but let me add I'm basically just using them for the beach.

I was looking for a pair of budget friendly water shoes for an up coming cruise. I didn’t want to spend a lot of money for shoes i would probably not wear too often. I saw these, they looked nicer than most, and the reviews were good. These exceeded my expectations and beyond. I usually wear a size 11, I purchased an 11 in these and the fit is perfect. I have been wearing them around the house and the level of comfort is amazing and so much more than i expected. If they are this comfortable around the house I’m sure they will do well on the ship and the beaches we visit. I highly recommend.
