Great dart gun
Bought for in home protection from a 12 year old and a 6 year old that have multiple Nerf guns.Perfect amount of clips that make reloading easy, and it has pretty good accuracy and a fair amount of power for distance and the kids know they've been hit when I get them. So far I love it!

Sturdy, fun, and reliable rapid fire - a great value!
A Dad review - we bought two Dart Zone rapid fire foam dart guns for Christmas this year, the Spectrum (this one) and the Savage (with 3 rotating drums). Of the two, we really like the sturdiness and reliability of the Spectrum over the Savage, even though the Savage can carry and shoot more bullets without reloading. The Spectrum also seems to shoot faster and harder than the Savage, so we recommend eye protection for kids during Nerf wars. Also, the darts can damage walls and doors depending on the material, I wish there was a way to dial down the power a little bit. It works with Nerf darts, but we actually prefer the Dart Zone waffle tip darts to those made by Nerf and will probably be buying those for all our foam dart guns going forward.Loading the magazines for the Spectrum takes time, but they give you 5 and being able to change them out quickly helps when spraying a lot of darts. Video reviews online state that the fps for this dart gun is as high as some modified Nerf guns, more like airsoft than the old Nerf guns! The gun features an access panel to clear jams, although we haven’t encountered any yet. Also, these Dart Zone guns use internal flywheels (like a hot wheels launcher) to fire darts quickly, so these can get loud if you have a few of them running at once. They also use a lot of AA batteries (not included), but it’s well worth it for the rapid fire fun that they provide!Overall, if you’re looking for a first rapid fire nerf gun that works with Nerf brand darts, you really can’t go wrong with this one. You could buy two or more of these for a comparable Nerf brand gun, so you can’t really go wrong with the Spectrum! We’ve been pretty impressed by Dart Zone’s guns so far, and we hope that they keep making more in the future!

This blaster is the best!
I liked this dart blaster because of how smooth it operates. The value is so good on this package because you get FIVE magazines with enough darts to fill all of them. I still haven't found a jam that's a fault of the blaster (accidentally tried to shoot some really worn down darts), and it shoots hard. Like a modded blaster, hard.Overall what's not to like? If Nerf sold this blaster it would probably be twice the value, minus the performance.

Best bang for your buck motorized blaster... Now in a bundle
I've used the Adventure Force version (Blaster, scope, stock, 1 MAG, and 10 darts for $25 at Walmart) in the past and was really impressed but re-loading their 1 included magazine constantly was super annoying. This bundle solves that problem. I picked this up for approx $40. $15 extra for 4 additional mags and 40 additional darts seems like a good deal.PROS:Fires with solid power (Much harder than almost all of Nerf's flywheel offerings)Extremely accurate with the included dartsTakes AA batteriesOK Battery lifeBuild quality isn't Dart Zone Pro level but it feels solidBright colors clearly indicate this is a Toy and not a weapon for public playQuieter than other motorized blasters I've used (Nerf Rival Perses)Shipped in a box in a box to reduce possible shipping damage (plastic still had some micro scratches)Great valueCONS:Feeding the magazines in the blaster can feel clunky (Blaster has a weird cutout near the mag well)Only fires full length dartsSounds like a weak hand vacuum when revvingNo rechargeable battery included or offeredMight be a little too powerful for younger users (use eye protection)CONCLUSION:I love this blaster and bundle. I would highly suggest investing in some rechargeable AA's though. You will make your investment back in the first week if you use the blaster a lot. Highly recommended

Best for teens and young adults
It's got a comfortable grip for my big hands. I like that it fires around 80 feet per second (FPS). It's compatible with Nerf mags. The rev trigger and fire trigger feels nice and smooth. One nit pick I have is that the stock is a little short for me, I am 6 foot, but it's easy to put the Adventure Force Villainater's stock which is longer. The stock that comes with the Spectrum is adjustable and it locks in nice and doesn't collapse very easily. The mags it comes with can hold a couple extra darts and 50 darts. The for grip that goes on the rail underneath the barrel is removable and is sturdy.

Never Worked Right
The first attempt at one of these, it worked once. The little engine revved up, but it stopped working after that (didn't even get to shoot it). Returned it for another one hoping it was just a bad egg. The second one didn't work at all. Returned it and stopped buying.

Less expensive to just buy the gun and the magazines separate
This bundle price ends up being more than buying the gun and some extra mags and darts separately. I guess there’s some convenience in the bundle?
