Extremely comfortable
Walked all over the UK with these, even a 5 mile mountain hike. Extremely comfortable and drastically improved the stock insoles of my shoes and hiking boots. Would definitely buy more of these.

Lots of cushion
I was hesitant to order these since I couldn't find them locally to try first, but after seeing another reviewer briefly compare them to SuperFeet Run Cushion which I have and like, I decided to give them a try. Compared to the Run Cushion (I think these were all called Adapt at some point) the Hike Cushion seems closer to the high arch support than medium, a little wider to fit typical hiking boots better instead of running shoes, and probably double the thickness of the padding under the ball and heel sections. The Run Cushion can usually be found locally, which makes it nice to be able to try and just imagine that with more cushion. Of course the additional cushion will affect the volume, but most hiking shoes/boots should be able to accommodate it. I'm using them in a pair of Merrell Moab 3 lows and they fit and feel great.

Super for lowering shock on road-walk sections. See my notes on trimming these.
I bought this for a hike across England where around 1/8th of the hike was road walk. You need to trim these so that the support lays FLAT - with no side flares. After I trimmed properly - they were great.I thought they fit into my boots without trimming but it turns out they flared up on the side just a bit. After 20 miles it started to matter - and I was on the search for someone with some scissors!I have no idea if a cheaper brand would have been just as good.

Verdict after 46 miles hiking trip…
Just finished a hiking trip around Mont Blanc in Europe. Waited to do this to give a good evaluation of these inserts. I had some forefoot pain recently on a prior hiking trip in some relatively new Asolo Drifter GV boots with stock inserts. I got these new inserts and just finished hiking the TMB. Lots of huge elevation gains and losses. I was really pleased. I had very little in the way of foot issues. I like the extra rubber in the mid foot. I bought some Scarpa hiking shoes on the way home and have already ordered a second set of these to put in those.Highly recommend these. I think these are legit and are better than the stock inserts and worth the extra expense. Foot health can’t be overemphasized for hiking.

feel just as good as the trailblazer to me.
first thing. due to the design of superfeet insoles these are not a good choice for sneakers with built in arch support. most of the negative reviews I see of superfeet insoles are based on people putting them in modern molded sneakers and these require a flat bottom shoe and removal of the factory insole. so do not buy these if you have a modern sneaker or shoe that doesn't have a flat footbed when the insole is removed.anyways, about the insoles.I have been using the Superfeet trailblazer insoles for maybe 3 years now, probably gone through 6 pairs or more by now and these feel very similar. these do feel a little softer at the ball of the foot and heel and much like the trailblazer are a good match in my Belleville One Xero boots ( my preferred work boot) but the sides are a good bit higher at the heel and sides of the arch, especially the Lateral side. at first I thought that would create a hotspot on the lateral side of my foot but it's really not that noticeable after you wear them a while. but if you have a wide heel or broad arch this could potentially be uncomfortable.I got these in size F and I wear an 11.5r or 11.5w in fine lasted shoes and military combat boots, depending on the last shape that. I don't wear sneakers at all, so I don't really know my size in those.but while I have a wide forefoot I have a narrow heel. for instance the Alden Modified last in 11.5 regular is the perfect fit for me, that last has more of an E width toe box and an A width heel. so in my opinion these insoles are best suited for people with a narrow heel that like a deep supportive heel cup and a good bit of side arch support.the arch support height and longitudinal arch shape feel almost identical between these and the trailblazer to me.so to summarize, if you like the trailblazer but have a narrower heel and find yourself wanting a deeper heel bed and more heel and arch side support give these a try. but if your heel is wide you should probably pass on these.ill update the review when these get to the point they are warn out. I'm in construction so I typically wear the cloth topping off at the toes on the superfeet insoles in about 6 months. (that's a lot of miles on them) so based on my experience with the trailblazers I expect at least the same from these.

by far the most uncomfortable superfeet I've ever had
I've had numerous kinds of Superfeet over the years and they're a good product. But these are horribly uncomfortable- there is a thick ridge along the outer edge of the foot. I cut the edge off but it still feels like a hard lump. I think I need to cut the hard plastic part under the padding too, to get rid of it. These just don't fit my feet. I'm a bit of an under-pronator and tend to have more weight along the outer edges of my feet- these might be good if your feet are pronated. And of course you have to cut them to even fit them in your shoes before you can find out if you can use them at all, and presumably once they're cut you can't return. And they're so expensive. Waste of a lot of money.Update- Superfeet saw my review and offered me a full refund! This is a good company. This particular insole just didn't fit my feet. I changed my rating from 1 star to 3.

Wonderful!
I wear 7.5 shoes and ordered the 6-8 insoles. They fit perfectly in the shoe without needing to be trimmed down and gave the extra support and comfort the regular insoles weren't providing. I have three pairs of the same hiking shoes (different colors) and these insoles can be moved between pairs to feel like I'm wearing the same shoe. It's great!

Can finally use my old hiking boots again
I got my favorite pair of Keen boots re-soled and got these inserts to help refresh my shoes. They were exactly what my feet needed. I will be able to use my boots for so much longer now.

Superfeet hike
I was skeptical buying these, as to weather I would notice any difference at all over the stock insoles. I was happy to find they helped a lot with comfort in my hiking boots. I do long day hikes usually 8 hrs.
