Well-engineered GPU
This was purchased as an upgrade to the Intel UHD Graphics 630 onboard graphics system of a three year old Lenovo IdeaCentre desktop pc. The result is a significant improvement in speed and quality of graphics performance.Key note 1: there are no installation instructions and software included in the package. However the relevant software is available via the AMD site using its web installation program. Plus there are various YouTube videos available describing the Radeon 550 card inclusive of installation and games performance.Key note 2: the photos on the Amazon site for the GPU show an older design. The current card is boxed in on the fan side.Key note 3: no power cable in required to operate the card; ie it draws ts power via the PCI slot

Gaming on a budget
Fitted to an old Dell slimline desktop after upgrading to an SSD and more memory, this is the most powerful card I could fit. It performs everyday tasks well and a spot of video editing in Wondershare. I'm able to play "last gen" games okay, such as Day Z on medium detail.

Definitely worth buying
The quality is good and although I can't really comment on value for money ( due to only being computer beginner) but to me it definitely was value for money and was also easy to install and has definitely improved the quality of my gaming.

The delivery of the above was excellent and quick! BUT when trying to install the video card it was found to be too big! Not the video card itself, rather the flange/bracket (where the card outputs and the card is fixed to the computer case.) The flange/bracket was too tall for the computer case not allowing the case to be closed again!.. I was expecting the video card to be like the one that was shown as in the picture. I tried reading the piece of paper that came with the card but that didn't give any help, so I have returned it to you....

Good Value Low Profile Graphics Card
I purchased this Maxsun graphics card to give a speed boost to an ageing Dell Optiplex 7050 SFF. It fitted fine, and runs perfectly. Outputs include Display Port and HDMI. No drivers are included in the package, but these can easily be obtained from the AMD website. The RX550 is not the newest GPU by today's standards. However, with 4GB DDR5 memory on board, this card offers a useful performance boost, without costing silly money. All in all, I would say it represents decent bang for the buck!

Poor quality for gaming
Easy to install but couldn't handle any of the latest games out in 2024. Quick return accepted by Amazon and next day refund.
