Is What it Is
There's no way to really describe this better than how the product was already described. It works wayyy too well. Of course, if you have a lot of flies like I did, just expect to remove their bodies off your furniture and floor after they get zapped. It works so well, it was almost like a game of tenis trying to get them all but I won that match in the end!Love how it's rechargeable, so I won't always need it plugged in, but when I do, I'll just pick it back up and recharge. I will say that I think the more flies you're zapping, the less time the battery will last, but it still charges very fast, so that problem is outweighed. Thank you!

It's impressive!
The media could not be loaded. Previously, I owned a hand held zapper. I don't enjoy the hunt, but my former partner did and it was fine. I have since moved inland from the coast and am encountering I am unfamiliar with. I turn on my porch light and get attacked by flying insects. It's creeping me out. So, I talk to my new neighbors and two or three times a year you need to get an insect termination expert out here to take care of things. News to me. So I looked at the termite people in the area. They have pictures of termites, flying ants and other pests. I'm concerned about termites and flying ants,(who knew?) So I purchased these. The upside is that I can sit on my porch in the evening and not swat a bug away every 3 seconds. I didn't think there were any bugs in my house last night, but there were and it got them. I feel badly for killing insects -we are all a part of the ecosystem, but it's better them than me. The larger insects take longer to die and it's distressing hearing and seeing the purple flashes of their relatively slow deaths, but still. And they smell, briefly, like burned hair. Sadness, but still. I may purchase more and plug them into every USB port I have.I am concerned that I am killing beneficial insects. I will submit photos of the sad insect corpses that didn't disintegrate. Termites be gone, but Daddy Long legs, I apologize if it's you.Bottom line, buy it. Passively kill, as I do, or get your game on and swing away!

Reliable, easy
It's a great product. Contrary to a previous one I bought, this one will really Zap any bug, sometimes leaving a smell, but I guess that it's because it works! The design is great because it's easy to get rid of the bug once caughtThe battery life is good enough for a few hours running non stop.

The Gold Standard In Bug Zapping
This is actually my second WBM bug zapper, my first one fritzed out after about 100,000 zaps. The newest model seems anecdotally to be twice as bright and still very lethal. My one complaint is that the new version has a much flimsier base. The old version featured heavy solid plastic base. The new base is hollow plastic and much lighter, which makes the zapper a bit wobbly unless seated just right. One improvement is that the USB charging port is in the base now instead of the handle (the old socket in the handle used to put a lot of wear and tear on the charging cord).

Wonderful product!
This product is a far better fly swatter than the old fashioned ones. It will kill not only flies, but also Wasps, etc. The battery life is really long. We keep it handy on one of our windowsills for fast and easy use. Thank you for this invention.

Love!
Honestly I bought this after another bug catcher failed to work. My mom kept getting eaten by mosquitos so we bought this as an alternative and we ended up loving it. It has a dock and you can leave it stationed and on it or you can swap it around. Kinda of entertaining actually. Works great!

Works well
I like it. The only problem I find that is if you leave it on to have bugs attracted to the light, it dies very quick. The device. And when it's charging, it says to make sure the device is off. That defeats the purpose to me. If something is flying around and it's on the charger, I should be able to have it on and kill the bug. It's pretty good for the money.

Good but could be better
How it worksSo there’s a switch on the right side. Lowest position is off, middle position makes it ready, and top position makes it always active and the blue leds turn on. With the switch in either the middle or top potion, 4 battery level indicators become active. When it’s in the middle position, pressing the very large button (the grey oval shaped part) will activate it (doesn’t turn on the blue lights in this mode). Any time it’s activated, another red indicator light comes on near the battery indicators to show that it’s active.First impressions* It’s a bit larger than I was expecting, which on its own isn’t necessarily a bad thing, but…* The button to activate it manually is also extremely large. It seems too easy to activate it just from holding it, especially when you try to support the unwieldy size while also avoiding pressing the button. Essentially you can move it around quickly while activating it, move it around very gently while avoiding the button, or hold it farther up by its neck.* the base station says “if battery runs out of power, switch to off when charging”, which the prospect of this thing possibly not getting enough of a charge to sustain it while it runs is a little disappointing. But I suppose it depends on the power of the charger you have. So we’ll see.* the outer safety net mesh is a lot farther away from the inner mesh than I have seen on other bug zappers. I thought it would cause an issue with little bugs not properly getting zapped (what I originally bought it for, some teensy bugs about the size of grains of sand), since I was under the impression that it would need a bug to be touching the middle and outer meshes at the same time to complete the circuit and zap it. But, maybe that’s not the case, because it still seems to zap those little ones.* the zaps when it’s sitting there running can make you jump. Which on its own isn’t fault of the product, it’s just the nature of how it works. But…* The base station seems a bit small for the product it’s holding up. When it’s on an unsteady surface that I’m also using, like a desk, I worry I’ll jump or move around and shake the thing enough to knock it over.* the neck area seems to get really warm while it’s sitting there running and on the dock (it may or may not happen while undocked too, haven’t paid much attention). Just seems a bit concerning like I won’t be running it while its unattendedSummaryOf all of that, my biggest gripes are the huge button and the small base station. It’s just too easy to press when you don’t mean to, and the thing is a tad too big to dock on something that small. Other than that, I’m quite liking it so farThat’s all I have for now. I may or may not update this review later depending on what else I have to say about it
