I had previously purchased a passive Displayport to DVI cable, and my old monitor would not recognize the input. This active cable worked perfectly. As long as things keep working, this will be a great purchase.

Great product just what I needed for my monitor.

Excelllent quality; active cable supports dual mode (accommodating larger DVI-D monitors; should also support two DVI-D monitors with a splitter). Also works fine with a single DVI-D monitor (which is my use case).

I used this to connect a relatively old monitor to a brand new system. Works well. It's exactly what you would expect to get for the price point. Decent but not great value. Workhorse product. No apparent problems.
