I loved it
Great book telling the story of Victor Vescovo and his ambition diving in the five oceans.Very well written by the author. The only remark is that the few pages with pictures could have been in color due the price of the book.

Great read of an astounding achievement
An interesting account of the Deep Dive Project. Though the information on each dive maybe classed as sketchy and I would have liked more photographs of the sea bed, overall the book is absorbing and a good read. Unlike some reviewers, I enjoyed the behind scenes stories and information regarding the expedition.

Thrilling!
I was definitely on pins and needles when Vescovo made his first descent--and then again during some of the more dramatic moments. A great true adventure read, but also a fascinating look into the science and engineering of the deep ocean and deep ocean exploration. How prototype and pioneering technology like the submersible used in this expedition is truly remarkable, and unlike mountaineering, deep ocean exploration, like space exploration, is a true fusion of individual tenacity and courage along with scientific and intellectual collaboration and research. A must read and great fit!
