Great stand! Works well in my classroom near the podium when I am modeling. Have not had a kid accidentally run into it yet, thankfully its a little taller which is good.

Glue the rubber stopper
Glue the rubber stopper dwn before putting Ur trumpet on the stand. Otherwise U will have to figure out how to fish the stopper out of the bell. It will be stuck kind of hard. Other than that everything works perfect & is well built. However, this it such a huge issue that I only give it a 2 stars. This could have cost me some $ to have fixed or even made my instrument unusable. If they would just fix this issue I give it 5 stars.

Just overall meh, and is now costing me way more than I wanted
First of all, the stand is just wobbly. Any time I put my instrument on it, no matter the height of the spring, my instrument would lean just slightly.I say "would" because currently, the stand is broken. The hinge part for the spring lost its grip (despite the fact that I tightened it pretty well) and the instrument fell down the stand, pushing the middle rod up the bell, and lodged the rubber stop at the top of the rod into my instrument, meaning its currently unplayable, and the stand is useless. It worked fine while I was using it, and I needed a stand. Just get a small wire one, they work just as well.

Great for gigs!
This is my second stand. I misplaced the 1st one. Itβs strong and keeps my horn steady, and high enough to grab easily.
