Fun for all ages.
Fun little gun that shoots water pellets. They do shoot pretty dang far too. It does jam from time to time but give it a couple shakes and it's ready to use again. The clip only holds 50 rounds of ammo and takes 4 hours to refill (place tiny little beads inside and fill with water and wait). Doesn't hurt to bad when hit. No worse than a Nerf bullet. The Ammo does take a few months to break down and disintegrate specially in the summer time. Winter months it is quicker.I do HIGHLY recommend purchasing the refill cartridge that does 1000 ammo at one time. Each clip only holds 50 rounds of ammo. Once you run out you have to wait 4 hours for the next batch to be ready. By purchasing the refill cartridge there is hours of fun and by the time they run out of ammo they are done playing anyways and you have time to refill it. Good for price.
When I bought this, I got it for $2. Compared to the original price of around $40, that's a pretty good deal. THe gun works as promised, but that doesn't mean its perfect. Like all other Xploderz guns, after putting in a new clip, you have to dry fire a couple of times before a "pellet" chambers, then fires. Another problem I had was the burst modes. With the little amount of time I spent using this, I discovered that firing with a 2 or 3 round burst, the "pellets" explode immediately after leaving the barrel. Once out of the barrel, they only make it a little over 7 feet before hitting the ground. Not a major problem, unless burst modes was the reason you purchased this. Another problem I had was the design. The corner shooting concept is cool, but flawed. You can't aim around corners. PERIOD. It isn't impossible, but extremely difficult due to a lack of sights on the mirror or barrel. Once your corner shot is "aligned," you pull back the priming rod to shoot, and the force of the pull completely ruins your shot. Overall, this product is good if you want an inexpensive gun with unnecessary additions that you will most likely never use.

grandson loves it!
actually fires best when bent!~ when using in straight on position it seems to want to 'hang up'!!! the ammo is 'friendly' as far as wouldnt harm another child... just bounce back. we liked the concept of how the ammo will just dissolve while laying around the yard... so clean up needed..... BUT, stray inside shots can harm furniture finishes if left too long.

Hard to shoot and made a TOTAL mess! YUCK!
My 8 year old son asked for these for christmas from santa and I reluctantly got them. YUCK! They were awful! The gun is very hard to shoot, even my husband had a hard time getting the bullets to shoot consistently. We got 2 and one barely shot. There is no trigger so the shooting is more a pumping motion. The aim is terrible and when the bullets do launch and they are HARD and explode to pieces of wet gel that cover the floor or spray all over the place:( Maybe they are geared to older kids but I would be nervous using them with no eye protection. I say this as a pretty relaxed parent BUT when the bullets do launch, they are very hard and small (about the size of a pea) and they would cause a lot of damage to an eye. Overall very disappointed.However, I returned them via Amazon due them them not working properly and i was issued a refund immediately so although I am disappointed in the product I LOVE Amazon and the ease of return.

Son has had a blast with it
I got this for my son as a Xmas present. It was his favorite. It seems to be well made and able to take a lot of rough playing.

I got this when it was on sale for $4, and it was the best $4 I ever spent. The hours of fun I've had with it have been amazing. Just make sure you get extra ammo, because it goes fast!
