If you have a Makita tire inflator you really need this...
Why the heck Makita would design their high quality and very utilitarian tire inflator to require you to hold the button while it inflates to a set air pressure is beyond me, but this little device corrects this glaring design flaw.It is easy to install and changes the Makita tire inflator from a totally ridiculous device to a very useful and user friendly tool.

Also fits Makita 40V XGT MP001G cordless tyre inflator.
Product description has this designed for 18v Makita LXT cordless tyre inflator BUT it also also fits Makita 40v XGT MP001G tyre inflator. Fantastic addition to tool. I can get rid of cable tie now.

Not a 3D printed product
Good design and proper functioning, no 3D printed crap.

Works like a charm and the price is right.
If you own the Makita tire inflator this is designed for, you’re probably annoyed that it’s slow and you have to manually hold the trigger the whole time it inflates, which can be tedious, especially while crouching down low to the ground. This trigger easily attaches to the inflator (with Velcro), is unobtrusive, remains permanently attached, and converts the manual trigger to a push button that engages (or disengages) the trigger, depending which position it’s in. And of course, you don’t need to manually hold it, and the inflator’s automatic off function will turn it off when the desired pressure is reached anyway.Great inexpensive work-around for an annoying design flaw that Makita’s safety engineers/lawyers probably insisted on.Only negative is that mine did not come with instructions, though it was fairly intuitive to figure out installation and use.
