This one has been working well over the last 6 months in the basement of my house. I actually had other air quality monitors but I requested this particular one because the price was much higher than ones I’ve been using (so I was curious).Well, it didn’t do anything exotic or transform itself into an exciting robot. But it’s been doing its job. The data it processes and displays match the ones from my quite high quality air purifier and quite similar to other monitors I have been using. Now, that’s also my issue. I am not sure I would spend much more for this one when my other devices with cheaper price tags do the job with almost the same level of accuracy.Regardless, I think this one is a decent one, but if you don't really need the material quality or something fancy, you can probably find a cheaper one for the same functionality this one provides.I don’t regret requesting this one though. easy to use, easy to read, a good to display out in open space. Hence, it still gets 4.5 from me.

Device will turn on for a second but not charge/hold charge. Less than 4 months old.

The weather station works exactly as it should. There really is not much to say about it, but I have been using it for months and it still functions perfectly!

I bought the Temptop Model P1000 in 2021 (made in China, sold by Elitech, Milpitas, CA) due to the smoke from the fires , all from CA. I don't live in Europe; I live in Reno, NV, AMERICA.To my shock, the P1000 only showed temp in degree C, not in degree F; and it was also not adjustable. They sell this unit in USA but failed to tell the customers! I only noticed it after their 30 days warranty expired. The Model 1000 was the same way.Go some where else to buy a smoke sensor; as you don't really know what else they don't tell you.

This is an air quality monitor with outdoor temperature readings via the Internet. The monitor measures approximately 6.5”x5”x2.75”. It is powered by an internal rechargeable battery but is basically meant to be run while continuously plugged in to a USB power source via the USB A to USB C charging cable (transformer brick not included). At the top of the screen is the date and time, plus small icons that show network and Bluetooth connections, plus charge status. Below that the screen shows PM2.5 counts in very large numbers, PM10 counts in large numbers and an Air Quality Index number in large numbers. Below that is an icon for weather forecast (sunny, cloudy, rainy, snowy), plus the temperature and relative humidity. The screen is touch screen. To make the most of this device, you need to connect it to your home Wifi so that you can get the outdoor temperature and weather forecast info. Apparently, you can connect other Temptop sensors to this screen so that you can get readings from different rooms in your house, although the info rmation about what sensors are available and how to get their readings is not clear in the manual.I like the large print format of the numbers on this device. They are easy to read at a distance. The network connection is flaky, though, and after a few days, I gave up and just decided to live with the air quality information only. We have lots of microclimates in our region anyway, so the conditions at the airport 40 miles away aren’t always reliable for predicting our local weather. The clock works well, and it’s handy to have indoor air quality info available. Overall, this device is easy to read and the air quality information seems good, but the network connection is flaky.

I really wanted to like this product. I've been looking for a desktop reliable air quality monitor for sometime. While this one checks the box on presentation, when comparing the readings to EPA's Air Now readings and those from my Huma (which were consistent with each other) this product's readings were disappointingly off. Given the positive reviews on other products from the manufacturer, perhaps the sensor on the one I received were improperly calibrated or malfunctioning.

The media could not be loaded. I liked using this to monitor AQI inside my kitchen, but after a year of sitting on the counter, the internal fan seems to have eaten too much dust or something else that has caused a constant grinding noise.The unit cannot be cleaned internally or disassembled easily, essentially making this unrepairable and it won't last very long. Very little thought went into this it seems.
