I got this for my recovered ankle fractures
I broke my ankle in 3 spots August ‘24 (1fibula, 2 tibia) and have finally recovered enough to walk without the restrictive brace. I had to wear it longer than usual because I walk an extreme amount for work. The most problematic area I have dealt with though has been around my subtalar joint area. I use the arch support insoles from the dr and they definitely help! (I have normal arches, but the support helps your foot, ankle, knees, hips, yada-yada. I learned that from the Dr. So glad I know that now lol) I missed the help from my brace but it was too restrictive. At night time my discomfort/pain increases and I still wanted support while I’m working. I have had issues periodically with plantar fasciitis as well, but as I said I got this for my ankle. The MOMENT I put this on I had such a relief on my ankle! The kind of relief that almost brings you to tears! Like a great massage does, you know. I can absolutely see how it helps with the PF as well. I almost didn’t buy these because I wasn’t sure if it would help my ankle but I’m so glad I did! If it continues to help this much I’ll definitely be getting another pair! Some reviews mentioned how tough they are to put on and take off, and I can say that they are VERY snug so it doesn’t just slide on and off. But they are not difficult to put on and take off in my opinion. The fabric is very comfortable and doesn’t bother me any. I did measure my arch before ordering and I think that’s very important. It’s very simple to wear with shoes. This is the first review I’ve ever done and I’ve ordered many things! I did want to clarify that I got it for my ankle and not PF, so that if anyone was wondering if it was helpful for the ankle area I would definitely say yes!! I hope I have provided some helpful information. And I hope you have an abundance of success in your healing journey!

I’ve had a lot of pain in my right heel for weeks now and after an ice soak which wasn’t pleasant and using this which is way more pleasant, the pain is practically gone which I am soooo thankful for. I use it I lay on my right foot where I was having the pain

A good item but sizing was off for me
I like this compression sock but I feel the fit is a little off. I ordered a small because that is what is advertised for my foot/shoe size. I tried it on and it felt pretty tight but I went ahead and wore it. After a few hours my foot was in so much pain that I assumed my foot was getting worse and I needed a doctor. But after removing the sock I felt better. The quality of this item is good so I’ve ordered a medium instead. I wish I had returned the first item as soon as I had tried it on due to sizing but since I didn’t I will just toss them and use the bigger size.

YESS!
I did not think that my husband would wear them. He did and it also did what it was suppose to do. They were very confortable he said and his fees did not get swollen all night white we were at the wedding and reception.

Flat seams are awesome. Compression less awesome (for me)
In relationship to everything...I'm a retired 65, 5'9", ~200lbs, walk and hike 80+ miles a month, and wear a size 12 Hoka shoe (Stinson, Speedgoat, Ahari). I also have maybe a dozen pair of compression socks I wear during long flights, 9-12 hour drives (SE TN to ORL, FL), and/or motorcycle rides (USA-wide). I ordered an Xtra-large based on shoe size and it provided quite minimal support compared to my typical range of compression socks. I re-ordered a Large and while it provided additional compression, that seemed to be mostly to just being a hair smaller. It still didn't feel anywhere near as snug as the stated 20-30mmHg would warrant. Others have mentioned difficulty in getting on and off but these were no more harder than ankle socks in my case. Some graduated Vitalsox c-socks I have at a moderate 12-18 mm / Hg feel more compressive. Maybe it's the larger area they're covering and impacted nerves sending signals making it just seem they're better? I do incredibly like the very flat seams at either end - all the difference in the world during any 4-8 mile fast walk, or 10-mile hike. I'm contemplating spending ...again, to get/try the Mediums. I'm not yet convinced these are the ones for 'best' compressive ankle support.

Relief!
I am in Healthcare and on my feet at work 11 hours a day. My left foot was in constant shooting pain. After 2 days of wear I noticed a substantial reduction in pain and I was ablento walk up the stairs to my home after work without struggling to move.
