Doesn’t retract as it should
The lanyard locks in place and you have to tug out to release it which makes absolutely no sense for a mic holder. It is good quality tho. Sturdy and solid. Could be handy for something else however I’m returning it.

It’s not as good as the gear keeper
It doesn’t have Automatic retract. Once you pull it, it stops you gotta pull it again for it to go back in. I threw it out and got me a gear keeper

Strong, and works
I actually use this for holding a Uniden Marine Radio, because the belt loop on those is really annoying. The loop on the end of this fits really well around the metal belt loop attachment on the radio, and I can just pull it out of my pocket, knowing it will be safe if I drop it or just let go of it deliberately to do something else.The cord is strong, it locks into place well, and although I haven't exactly tested it in a storm yet, it's not designed for that so it's certainly going to be good enough for holding a CB mic or something similar.Very impressed! Does the job well and it's not that expensive.Hopefully, you find this review helpful.
