I had to purchase a new computer when my hard drive failed. I love Microsoft Word. It is the word processor I have used ever since I got my first computer and it is a full functioned beast of a word processor. Unfortunately, Microsoft has gone with a subscription model for their office suite. Hmmm...Ok, I get that with a subscription, I will always have the latest Office suite available, but I don't like not owning the product.Microsoft Office 2007 is the last complete product they published that you could by and own without a subscription. My windows 10 keeps offering to upgrade for me, but that isn't going to happen. I am totally happy with Office 2007. I( know it doesn't have all the features of the latest Microsoft office. That's okay with me. It is still a very solid product. The only reason I didn't give this product a 5 is that I know it is slightly out of date and unless Microsoft can find it in their business plan to offer a comparable product without a subscription in the future, I will be shopping around for someone who will. There are already several free products I have my eye on. Still I am very happy with this purchase and for at least the next several years this will be my office suite of choice. If you want a solid office product without a subscription get MS Office 2007 before they are all gone.

Installed correctly on the first try, and I now have Office on the work computer. The only problem I have, is that I keep this computer for printing only, it is not connected to the internet (that is how I use a computer from 1993 and still have it running well). The issue, is that the program is too old to activate by phone, and without internet, you can't activate it. I had to connect it for a few minutes to activate the program.

When I purchased my laptop new with Vista loaded on it, I did not realize the Office program was a "trial period" since up to that time, every new computer I have purchased came with all the programs on board as part of the price for the computer. When I ended up with no Office program at the end of the trial period, I loaded the Office portion of our XP from the PC. It worked OK for awhile, but it was difficult to coordinate applications between the XP and Vista. So, I went on a search for an Office 2007 I could afford and found it on Amazon. I was really sceptical at first, but after I downloaded it and learned how to use the new Word program, I was really glad I had bought it on Amazon. You really cannot go wrong with the care Amazon takes in assuring used items from other sellers are what they say they are or your money is refunded. Didn't have to do that and my purchase was a great find!

It even was shown to be able to scale to the first three years of Windows 10, although the 2019 revision was supposed to lose support. I know, because for the first three years of Windows 10 I supported a PC that had been upgraded from the factory install of 7 and for all OS choices from XP SP2 to 2018 Windows 10, it kept ability to provide entry level .docx, .pptx, .xlsx support, and the Windows 7 and 10 PCs that had it never had a problem opening documents. the sender lied and said he sent it and never did. There was never a tracking number and he said the usps doesn't use them or give them. I know better because I ship usps all the time. Then he said he resent the product and lied again. I don't recommend that anyone buy this product from drkpmpo2000

It was great when I saw this on Amazon. I couldn't believe it will work. But it does.And very well indeed. I am very happy to have bought it.

Delivery could have been faster. Otherwise very satisfied with purchase.
