Oem Style Fog Lights Clear Lens Made for and Compatible with 2005-2006 RSX Base/Type-S

Several years ago I purchased a 2005 RSX Type S that had aftermarket (don't know the brand) fog lights on them. After hours of fixing the mess that was the fog light wiring I finally got the old fogs working....which was great until one of the lenses cracked a week later. The mounting hardware was corroded beyond belief, so I decided to get rid of the old ones. Found these on Amazon and for the price figured I couldn't go wrong. My car has 113,000 miles on it and the front is less than pristine, so having foglights was more important than exactly how they looked. Well, I was plesantly surprised. These look great, they feel well constructed and sturdy. They have 35 W H8 bulbs in them (which I have found is the same base as a 55W H11, which the old fog lights had). Despite the lower wattage, lower lumen bulb, these fog lights are brighter than the old ones. Also, the hardware is all coated, so shouldn't have a corrosion issue like the old set. $45 gets you the lights and everything you need to install and wire them. Only gripe with the entire set is the fog light on/off switch for the cabin, which looked cheap and was pretty badly scuffed up. But for the cost, as long as they last a bit, they are great lights and I highly recommend them as a low cost option for getting fog lights on an 05-06 RSX.

I bought these as a birthday gift for my Fiance. He anxiously awaited for some nice weather to install the kit. After getting everything installed and testing the fogs, the switch melted and almost caused an electrical fire in his car! I received this product thinking I was getting a genuine and good quality product and now it has left myself and my fiance very very disappointed and upset. I have sent an email to the company, hoping to have this issue resolved!

I bought these to replace the stock fogs I had (yellow, oxidized). Upon installation, it became clearly apparent that the included metal brackets were not even close to lining up with the fittings. Since I was replacing , not adding , I was able to attach the stock metal brackets to the new light assembly. All in all the assemblies fit with the acura oem stock metal brackets... So if you're replacing your current fogs, these should be a viable option.

I expected this product to fit seamlessly into my 2006 RSX Base but this is not the case. It does come with the full kit needed. You will need some garage savoy. First thing. The light housing does not completely line up to the bumper. I only managed to get two screws diagonal from each other on both sides. From there, I bypassed the engine bay power distributor completely and drilled a hole in the firewall behind where the clutch pedal would go. On the interior, we fused the power to the harness to the interior fuse box. The Switch does not match the other interior switches and you have to apply a little more pressure to activate. I replaced the included H11 Halogens with a LED kit. Looks awesome. Only if it was simple to install and actually came with a manual.

Foglights work fine. It looks like the OEM one when you installed it, but before you get the proper fitment, you have to modify it big time! It took us 2 hours to install it(with a hoist). Could've been less than an hour. We had to modify the fitment. After 2 days using the foglights, the switch doesn't hold coz of the led bulb inside. It gets too hot, enough to melt the plastic that holds the main button. Now, the switch is completely useless.And yeah. It's made in china and it's cheap. But looks neat.Update: It's been almost a month. The right side's fog bulb is already busted. So disappointed. They either used a cheap bulb or the water leaks into the fogs.

Excellent fog lights, these are one of the few aftermarket parts out there that fit like oem. Almost no effort in installing.

Bought this with the assumption that the lens are oem spec DOT approved. I was wrong but it does the job since I had to replace my old ones. The fit had to be modified a bit.
