A direct fit for VW Mk4's. This 1 doesn't squeak an fits directly in. I gave 4 stars because I have to be honest, an yes the mounting screw heads r not flat which is beyond stupid. Which means if u do not have extra flat head mounting screws, it 100% will not fit. I had some extra ones, used them an it fitted perfectly

Doenst even fit the double din , dont wast your money . Even 1 pin in the connector was loose and kept frying fuses . I gave up on it after a while . Horrible product and fitment

Install was pretty straight forward and went smoothly. Fits perfectly in my 2004 Volkswagen Passat.

Removal tool is worthless. Notches in.. slight bend to catch the clip.. should be a quick thing.. messed around for about 30 minutes and gave up.. ordering a real set. If this is the reason you buy the kit.. don’t. Buy or borrow the real tool to remove. Ordered better ones. I don’t care how the rest of the install goes and how the other components work.. this alone is frustrating enough. I will update with the other problems I expect to encounter after the new tools arrives to remove the radio.All installed and updated to 3 stars. The rest of kit went well. As expected.. I had to trim the insert and I used heat-shrink for the connections.FOR MY CAR - I had to run the Red power wire of my head unit under the dash to on/off wire or the radio won’t I’m turn off with the key. VAGCOM has the red factory wire as a constant. Check VWVortex, Google or wherever first!! I used post #75 by the relays and bought a inline fuse to add inline.2005 Passat

The tool to pull out the stereo are a little difficult to make work but it gets the job done. The fit was a bit tight but it worked well.

Can’t ask for any better. The bezel fit well without fiddling. The adapter harness was easily integrated. All worked as expected.

everything was right in the kit, all but the wire harness. it was close ( got a BW01B and not a VW01B that i needed)was unable to find contact link as it sold and shipped by amazon to stat the issue so i leave it here

It’s a few millimeters too big but you can jam it in there, interferes slightly with the cup holders sometimes.

Great filler panel. Tools worked flawlessly,Wiring harness worked well. Need to run your own ignition supply wire to harness.Works on mk4 up to 2004 and jetta/golf "city" models for 2005+Does not fit 2005+ mk5 body style.
