This comprehension book help get my daughter ready for the 3rd grade. She started school confident and familiar with reading and comprehension thanks to this book.

Exactly what we needed. Short, interesting, age appropriate, guided reading and independent worksheets. Great for ADHD. Two suggestions: number the stories (1 to 100) and highlight random paragraphs to help with attention and place keeping. Would love to see a grade 4 and grade 5 level! Love the series!

Great variety of questions and activities; long story reading and answers, crossword, word search, complete sentences, learn vocabulary quiz. This workbook makes reading fun! My son’s really enjoying the activities. Also has the answer in the back, easy for my kid to follow! I love the structure of this book that help kids learn reading with fun and enjoy!

It makes after school easy for me

My daughter’s reading has gotten so much better using this book! However, the stories are kind of long and the questions are sometimes hard. The hardest ones are the crossword puzzles. Even I couldn’t figure out some of them so we had to cheat and look up the answers. The answers do not necessarily show up in the stories which is frustrating.

Good warm up

As a retired teacher, I purchased this for one of my granddaughters, who is a reluctant reader. I bought her new highlighters and pencils, and we read a passage each day during the summer. Excellent reinforcement of reading skills. Interesting and fun stories.

I use these books with stroke victims and they have done great with them
