Bought an older 5th wheel and one day when closing the door the handle just snapped. Old metal I guess. The new one is slightly thicker I think. Not sure but definitely very sturdy and comes with 6 keys and perfect replacement. Love it. Loved the color choices as well because my handle was what and I chose black. Definitely painting the inside door trim to match now as well.

I just installed this lockset on my rv. It replaced a nearly new one that proved unreliable as it occasionally would lock upon simply closing the door.This one works exceptionally smoothly. The door shuts quietly. Just a click and no slamming.The only reason for four stars is the faceplate screws. They are unfinished steel. There would have been four bright spots in the black faceplate. I used the black screws from the previous lock.Especially like the six unique keys as there are many standard rv locksets that share the same key. This one offers increased security due to individuality of the keys.While there may be keys out there that fit this unit I suspect they are far less numerous than what is standard on many rvs.If you simply need a functional replacement, no bells and whistles, this lockset appears to be the answer.

Arrived quickly. Seems to be well made and suitably solid. Operates smoothly. It installed in place of the original unit seamlessly in mere minutes. Offering several choices of screws and face plates is a nice touch. 3 sets of keys is nearly brilliant. Problem solved 100%!

Works good, metal and not plastic like some. Easy to install. Any knucklehead could put it on. 😆

Easy to install since some one had a on line video of there install. Was concerned that it may not be sturdy, but has been very sturdy. I love that it has a dead bolt on it as well. I put it on my enclosed trailer door. I'm converting it to a toy hauler so, when we sleep in it, we put a pad lock on the bar lock, and use this door handle, and dead bolt combo. I highly recommend it for the quality and price!👍🏾

This 2 pack of chrome door locks would have received a 5 star rating, but the packaging was terrible. The plastic shipping bag was not sealed on the top completely from the distribution facility in Mississauga. The cardboard box containing all the locks and hardware was split open down one side, and both plastic bags containing all the hardware for the locks were torn at the bottom. There were screws missing from both of the hardware bags, but luckily none that I needed for my lock replacements. These locks are fully metal, front and back, except for the actual deadbolt lock, which shouldn't be a problem. Both locks were easy to install and fit exactly as they should based on the measurements provided by the manufacturer. The instructions are a little shallow, but enough to get the job done.

Lost my keys to our RV and can't find blanks to have them reproduced, so had to buy a whole new locking system. Loved that it comes with multiple keys in case I lose my keys again! Was a bit finicky to install but we got it done. We bought the 2 pack locks, so now we can replace the lock on our other travel trailer as well and use the same keys for both...awesome!!!
