Great connectors, worked well for upgrading all my older devices from micro to usbc

I had no issues with these. I picked them up to replace micro USB ports on a couple things. I only really wanted them for power, so I can't speak to their ability to transmit data, but hooking up the +5v and GND lines works exactly as expected.

You have your basic for a pin connection positive negative for power data and data out just like a micro USB great for charging

I wanted power from any USB-C cable around the house, plus occasional low-speed data transfer to flash new firmware. With a 5.1k resistor connecting CC1 to GND this works... until you flip the cable over! Since this board only breaks out CC1, not CC2, Type-C bricks (like the ones from Apple and Anker that I keep on my desk) only provide power in one cable orientation. This brings back the fun of flipping the USB cable over 3 times!Buy a board that either breaks out both CC1 and CC2, or has the resistors you need built in.

They work as intended if you have a small forward that needs a replacement there you go that's one way
