Kept the phone dry
Bought this for an 8 day hiking trip in Scotland. I attached it to my backpack belt so that I could have the phone handy for checking the map, taking pictures and so on. It rained every day, but the phone stayed dry. I have a Galaxy S24 in a big case and had no problem fitting it in.
