So far it works great for a fraction of the Honda part
I did not want to pay the price of the Honda branded part as it was for a 16 year old car. This strut installed easily. I did need to use the old existing screws as the ones that came with the new strut were too wide. This was simple to do (don’t know why others had an issue with this which caused them to give negative reviews). Took only about 4 minutes to install. What a difference having the door work as it was supposed to. I just hope this strut works for a long time.

Pure quality
I was tired of my tailgate knocking me into boot of my car . This item is fab virtually opens the door for me on click of the handle.

Still not strong enough to hold my 2nd gen crv rear skor
Definitely more pressurised than my original 2nd gen crv gas strut. But it still isn't able to hold my door open on a slight elevation.Ended up having to get a gas strut stopper to sort my issue.

Fits CR-V 2005 great.
I used the original hardware because I didn’t like what came with it. Works great. Fits my CRV 2005. More powerful than original. I guess I should expected that with the name “maxpow”
