VTech Twinkle & Soothe Owl Projector

I love the projector, as does my baby. But, like others, it quit working pretty quickly. Less then a week after getting it, it stopped. I tried new batteries and nothing... Thankfully amazon is wonderful and is sending a new one. But, after reading reviews, I'm not setting my hopes too high that it will continue to work. VTech normally has great products, so I'm pretty disappointed with the quality. The idea of this is great though. It kept my little one happy when he would wake up once he learned to turn it on himself too. Hoping the next one keeps working!

My kids love this owl, but the batteries don’t last long at all. The sounds stay very quiet as well. It’s hard to hear them sometimes. It’s nice that it has a remote control with it. My kids favorite part about this is the projection that goes on the ceiling. They love to lay there and watch it. I know it advertises white noise, but if you want it just for that, I suggest you just stick to a traditional white noise maker. I would recommend this product if your baby is really into visual stimuli.

This was such a hit! Soothing music, beautiful light show, and the remote is genius. I can slowly lower the volume without going near the owl, my son would notice. When they finally fall asleep, if you’re like me and often either holding them or next to them, you can turn it off without moving; so you can make sure the sound doesn’t re-wake them while waiting for them to be settled. And when the kids are a bit older you can teach them to do it themselves. It has a timer as well.

This is absolutely adorable, and my son loved it for the first 3 nights that we used it. Then it stopped working. The music plays for just a few seconds when I push the button, and the image from the projector is fuzzy. I'm very disappointed. This isn't what I would expect from VTech. I'm currently researching other brands.

Should have listened to the other reviewers. I purchased this in January and began using it in April after the birth of my daughter. I loved this little thing but it worked for literally a week. Started shutting itself off before the timer should have shut it off. Now it won't work at all. Disappointing.Oh, and the crib straps are not idiot proof. I literally could not figure how to secure this thing to her crib.

I really loved this and so did my 7 month old daughter! It's so cute, sounds are soft and soothing, perfect for my little one. But like so many others, it quit after 3 nights of use, maybe 20 minutes each night. I thought it was the batteries because it did come with them so who knows how long they sat in there. But I put brand new batteries in it, and same thing. It comes on for about 2 seconds and seems great, then just quits. I'm so disappointed. I'm getting a replacement but I'm sure it won't make a difference. Something is wrong with this product.

I used this for 2 months. We didn't use it every night, just on nights the baby was abnormally fussy. A few days ago, the blinking eyes started making a clicking noise. They don't move, they just click. Even when the switch is in the off position, the eyes click. I had to take the batteries out to stop the clicking. Before it broke, this owl helped my baby go to sleep, but I can't afford to replace it every couple of months. I'm very disappointed as everything else works fine, but the clicking noice makes it unusable. Also, the straps in the back are totally useless. I put it on a counter so it didn't bother me, but it would have been frustrating if I had wanted it in my baby's crib.

Bought it for my goddaughter, she loves it. It has many settings and the picture on the ceiling move and is very cute. The toy is full of soft light and the remote is great to have. It's adorable and works great. Will buy again for sure.

My daughter has had one since she was 6 months old and loves it and asks for her owls every night. She’s now 2 1/2. Our first one died from so much use.

An almost perfect toy. The huge glaring issue is that it can’t be plugged in. I use this every night as a soothing tool for my son but occasionally the batteries die. It’s irritating and wasteful.

Great soothing projector. I feel like some songs play more frequently than others and motor which drives moving parts is a little noisy. Otherwise great product.

Unfortunately, this is a poorly made item. My nephew enjoyed it for about 4 weeks and then it just stopped working.
