Compact And Effective
The 3-piece Makita combo is nearly everything I had hoped for and more. All 3 pieces are surprisingly lightweight and pack a punch. Unlike some other brands, this power isn't out of control and for the impact and drill, are even adjustable to the task at hand. The only complaint I would have is in regards to the drill clips. The hook on them is a little too wide for my tool belt, which has resulted in light bumps resulting in the drill/impact falling to the ground. This can be especially dangerous if you're working on a ladder or lift! Fortunately, you can change out the clip if you happen to have the same issue. Otherwise, I have no regrets with purchasing this set and would highly recommend it to just about anyone.

Driver-drill, Impact Driver TOPS! Saw--piece of JUNK
The driver-drill and impact driver were powerful, lightweight, had great battery life and were of excellent quality. Love Love Love them! My new favorite tools! The saw barely lasted one hour in light duty trial by my husband trimming corners off floor joists for the loft of our new shed. It doesn't work at all after one hour. If I had to do it over again: skip the three piece set, put the money into the two drivers and an extra battery. Keep our corded Milwaukee recip saw:)

Love makita tools
Big fan of makita. Best long lasting battery’s on market as far as longevity Life of battery. (+5 years) Impact has a nice bite when screwing small light weight . Drill is good for light duty work. ( don’t use to drill holes through 1/2” hardened steel with 5/8 bit . Saw zall is small but pretty good for size

Makita Dependability
So far I'm pleased with the kit. The tools are a comfortable size, and plenty powerful. Kinda surprised but the saw is really good for the more careful reciprocating saw type cuts I often have to make. The batteries aren't big, but I've added them to my old larger batteries, so there's always one available. I expect these tools will last a good long time.

Hold up well in the field so far.
I've used these now for about a month. They are used in a commercial and daily setting. Don't know how they will stand up to the test of time but so far so good. Battery life is excellent. Sawzall is a little weak but holds up well for light duty. The impact is great and the drill I've only used a few times but seems solid. Again I'm not a weekend warrior. These tools get used every day. I am pleased with my purchase.

Great set., replacing my 12 year old bulky 18V Litium tools.
I've had great service from my mid-2000 18V Lithium Hitachi cordless tools.. but a new project came up that required a lot of holding a driver overhead. Did lots of research, starting with smaller 12V sets but then found this subcompact 18V kit, highly rated by everyone. I'm very happy with it.. the only slight negative is the driver's tension ring is covered at the bottom, requiring a little extra attention when adjusting. For the incredible reduction in size and weight, it's a trade-off barely worth mentioning.Great lightwieght and compact form factor. Better speed control than my older set. Very bright twin LEDs, with delayed off. Battery gauge and plenty of power in the 2.0 AH batteries.I'll keep my old working set but will save them for dirty jobs.

good little set, lightweight stuff, good power.
The impact driver is great, gray battery life and the speed settings are cool, it’s lightweight and has good power especially for the smaller size, definitely not as powerful as the 20v Dewalt brushless though, The drill driver is good, everything you want in a drill and it’s compact but be aware that it’s not a hammer drill so it’s not made for concrete or brick, even if you have the carbide tipped masonry drill bits. Lastly the reciprocator is compact and had the power I was needing to cut 2x4”s and metal fence posts. But it will drain your batteries very quickly even if you are using the higher A.h. batteries. I’m talking like 2-5 minutes of runtime and it’s dead. If you’re looking for a Powerful heavy duty reciprocator for heavy use this isn’t it but it’s still has pretty good power and will cut 2x4’s easily and metal posts, just not all day, id reccomend it for someone who wouldn’t be cutting stuff much bigger than what I was cutting or someone who occasionally has to whip out the reciprocator. If you are then definitely go with a bigger, corded reciprocator.

good drills for the price
Handy little drills with plenty of power for most jobs. The sub compact drill are great if you are working in tight places. I've only used the sawzall a couple of times but It's work really well for a battery power sawzall.
