I haven't taken it apart yet but it seems that it should be relatively easy to open it up for future upgrades
I had been trying to build a PC for about a year but the price of graphics cards has just gotten ridiculous as well as the price of ddr4 ram. I really wanted a 1070 gpu and i was planning on a ryzen 1600 cpu. the price point of my build was about $1250 with windows. For $950 this rig came built and ready to go with windows. The 1060 is no slouch and the ryzen 5 1400 is not limiting. I haven't taken it apart yet but it seems that it should be relatively easy to open it up for future upgrades. With the inflated prices on GPU's from the mining craze its hard to build a product your happy with for the same price not to mention the ease of use of buying prebuilt. I would have liked to build my own but if your looking for a pc for $1000 for gaming you can end your search here. the 1060 will play everything I have at max, the cpu has no bottle neck, 8 GB ddr4 is enough, ssd and hdd for quick boots and plenty of storage, and the motherboard has wifi and Bluetooth. Oh and it has an optical drive which is kind of nice especially if you want to load up some older games. You simply can't build a comparable product right now without spending another $200 easy and it comes in 2 days ready to use with prime. Also i think the case looks much better in person than online. I thought id be replacing the case but I'm going to stick with it for now. it has decent cooling but i haven't even gotten to overclocking yet and both the gpu and cpu should be quite responsive to an overclock

Got a lemon from Asus and now their warranty and repair services want 100$ to repair a PC THATS UNDER WARRANTY!!!!
Product worked great for less then 1 month. An Issue with the power supply or motherboard caused the PC to crash and damage the hard drive making it impossible to reinstall windows even after a full reset. I sent it in under the warranty but the case was dented in the shipping process. Asus refuses to work on the PC with any physical damage and will only work on it if I spend 110$ for a new case. Their warranty is crap, I shouldn't have to send in a PC for work that's less then a month old in the first place never mind having to buy a brand new case for one dent in order to get a working PC again. Last product I buy from Asus, their warranty and repair services are just designed to make them more money from PCs damaged during warranty claims through rules and requirements stuck in the fine print so you can't find it.I now have the decision of getting a now more damaged PC back that doesn't run or paying Asus's 100$ ransom.

The ASUS G11DF delivers 4k gaming resolution at ease and its great for multi-tasking on dozens of browser windows and other things. Its important to have just enough usb 3.0 and usb 2.0 to equalize the demands of both usb options. This is one of the best in mid-range computers. The CD drive got used over 400 times by my CD collection and is sturdy to handle the usages I put it through. The computer is quite silent even during my 4k gaming I've done. Its amazing computer that surpassed my expectations. I look forward to continue using this computer for years to come. :)

The dvd drive opens the dvd tray cover
The dvd tray cover's hinge is fragile and the bios needs to be updated from its out of the box state, but after that is amazing. It has 1 8gb ram stick and there is a tight knot of cables in the way of putting in a second one, but I don't need to. I use this computer to play games at max settings on a 60hz 60fps monitor without any noticable affect on performance. Perfect for casual gaming at a good price.

Terrible build quality and parts.
I chose this after looking up top 10 gaming PCs lists. This is a terrible pc. The gpu is loud. They use a stock psu which doesn’t seem to supply enough power. The optical drive jammed and the plate protecting the dvd reader broke off. Finally, it’s almost impossible to look inside since there is all this metal blocking everything. Easy to upgrade? Oh please...
