Not great quality on the frame, but it's overall good.
The frame did not snap together once I had everything in place. So if I would've left it as it, the front would have fallen off while drive. I zip tied the two pieces together and all is well now. My Jeep actually is blowing air better than before. I think the stupid plastic piece that comes factory on it just serves to block air more than anything so now it flows better.

Definitely an easy DIY, and needed for clean air through vents
Last year, I bought a used 2005 Jeep Grand Cherokee. This spring, the pollen count was BAD and I decided to put in a new cabin air filter to lessen my allergies (which I did not do last year). Alas, there wasn't one in the assigned location. After watching an instructional video, I discovered that it was an "option" when the Jeep was originally bought, and I ordered this housing and filter and installed it with no problems at all. I can't believe the difference in the air quality coming through the air vents. It was easy for me to install and I highly recommend it for anyone with these Jeeps (oh, yes, I need to mention that I am a senior woman in my mid 70's and did this all by myself!!!)

It’s not perfect but it will work.
Mounts to the vehicle fine, molded to the filters no issue. But it doesn’t clip back together once assembled which sucks. Definitely better than not having a filter. Would be a great product if it wasn’t for that issue.

This product is junk the parts do not fit together
There are two parts plus the filter element. One piece (A) mounts to the back of the cowl with two retainer clip (push pins). The filter element is inserted into the back half. Last step the louvered front piece (B) is SUPPOSE to snap into the back piece (A). The key word is "suppose" the snap clips on the two halves do not match and do not clip together. There are also gaps at the top that leave the filter exposed to the elements. I had to tape the parts together with HVAC foil tape. I would have returned it but it was mounted with RTV silicone because the right side of (A) would not stay tight against the back of the cowl. Find a better choice.

Why Jeep has no filter?!?!?!
I got this for my 2010 Jeep Grand Cherokee Loredo. It was easy to install and my Jeep stinks less when I turn the air on now.

It came prebroken but that could be from the shipping. I was able to fix it and install is simple
