Spooled on an Ultra light trout rod and 3000 size reel, this 327 yard spool of "6lb" braid just about fills up the spool. This is actually probably 25-30 lb braid with the diameter of 6 lb mono. That being said, I can cast a 1/4 ounce lure a country mile and the stocked trout don't seem the mind the line color. I fished with it twice and loved. Just bought a second spool to put on my back up rod. Wouldn't hesitate to by again. No color bleed wet or dry so far. No staining of rod guides or fingers. Great price

I've been fishing the high dollar line for many years but no more. KastKing line casts very nice, ties easy and is durable just like the expensive stuff. This braid is perfect! Easy to cast and fish. I fish saltwater and consistently land redfish from the oyster rocks without fear of abrasion or breaking. Casts great all the time-no memory like with mono. easy to tie knots and add mono-leaders. A tremendous value compared to other braided lines. Kast King delivers again!

This is the first time I've purchased a KastKing branded braided line. Initial thoughts right out of the box, it looks just like the other more expensive braids out there. It feels strong for a 10lb test line. I will be putting it through a test when I head out to Hayward, WI for some walleye/northern pike action. I'll update this review after my trip and let you know how well it held up.

Best braid I’ve used since braid came out. Casts a mile, excellent strength. I’ll be replacing my power pro with this on all my reels.

As others have mentioned, the dye on this braid rubs off on your hands and rod eyes while spooling it onto your reel. Haven't had that happen with other brands. Seems fine otherwise. We'll see.

I've used suffix 832, power pro super slick 8 and just power pro, I've use many braids and then found this stuff and just wow, not only does it cast smooth as silk but does not want to dig in or birdnest when your a beginner and forget to adjust your baitcast brakes right.

Great for ice fishing. Hangs straight and you can feel the slightest bite.
