Dorman 521-637 Front Driver Side Lower Suspension Control Arm and Ball Joint Assembly Compatible with Select Hyundai / Kia Models

These fit my 2010 Hyundai Santa Fe perfectly and were easy to install. I got an alignment right after I installed them because the slight dimensional difference made the steering very erratic (squirrely). Sadly, after only about 18 months and 12,000 miles both ball joints became loose (failed) and caused very rapid wear on the inside edge of both front tires. I didn't hear much noise from them and thought everything was fine until I saw the tire wear. I replaced both with Moog ball joints from a local auto parts store and got an alignment because I needed to send the car away with a college student and couldn't afford to wait to see if Dorman will honor the warranty.

This thing is for short-term fix only. Buy it if you want to replace it to get rid of the car. But after 20,000 miles, It was rusted throughout and the ball bearing is shot. And I probably pushed it far past when I should have changed it, so 15,000 is probably more accurate. That's abysmal for a control arm. Will never order Dorman brand again. Total garbage. Take it from someone who didn't just install it a day ago. 15,000 miles. That's the lifetime.

Absolutely perfect fit for my 2012 Sorento SX.Only time will tell about the durability but it looks identical to the original with 100k miles on it.
