My old fluorescent pantry light died. I bought this light as a stopgap until I could find a better light, but really this little light works great so far. Much brighter than I expected. Motion sensor is a real game changer and works great. Installation was 4/5 because the instructions were pretty skimpy and there was no ground wire. But I guess being 100% plastic, it doesn't need one (?) Anyway, the screw holes lined up perfectly with my ca. 1968 junction box, that surprised me. Took about 15 minutes to install, including removing the old fixture.

Installed this over my front door and works great. I can come home at night and it will turn on as I step up to the door so no fumbling with keys in the dark. Also nice to know it turns on when someone comes up making them think someone might be home.

Perfect outdoor light

Color:Biggest thing for me was turn on power and realizing "wow, that's blue." I wish I knew about the 4500k version before I got this. Even that might be too warm, I just want bright white, not operating room cool blue. Why not a version that has all 3 options and a switch to select color?Hardware:The screws they included didn't fit the old metal box that I had under my old light. The threads weren't right. Luckily I had a couple of my own that fit.They did not include the screw caps in my kit.I used my own wire nuts because the included were weird and not strong enough to hold a good connection. I would never trust those with my home electrical and I advise using orange wire nuts or lever nuts.Functionality:No complaints so far. The sensor works great. Turns off within a minute I think. Doesn't turn on when I'm walking by the pantry door. Light spread is perfect for my deep pantry. Brightness is good.

Very easy to install. Light is bright enough for a hallway or large closet. It is a no frills ceiling light, nothing fancy. Just eliminates what is in its path. I like the price. LED light is not replaceable. Where it stops working it's time throw it away. I hope that I will get a lot of years of use before it no longer lights.

Bright, functional and times itself off.

I had to replace another motion detection light which used 2 florescent circular tubes. It began to either not work at all, or only one of the two tubes would light up...When I installed it several years ago, I thought it was a Godsend... but I installed the new one, I was even more impressed. It has a narrow profile and will fit into many tight spaces. The installation was a full 4 minutes!! It works flawlessly and is extremely bright. In fact, it is so good, I am planning on replacing the two other motion detector lights with this unit. These are used to illuminate the entrances from my garage where a switch is inconvenient to get to. I understand the manufacturer also makes one that operates off a switch which I interested in using under a shelf over a computer but I am afraid the light is too bright since the shelf it would be mounted to is only a matter of inches from the top of the computer. I am afraid it would be too bright being that close. Now if they make one that can work with a dimmer switch I know I will be in heaven!!! Great Product. I highly recommend it.

I bought two of these lights because the reviews were high and the price was low. Mistake.As other reviews mention, the light turns off after 30 seconds even if you're still under it. It drives me crazy that every time all of a sudden the light blacks out and I have to waive my arm for two or three seconds to get it to turn back on. There is no help to be had and I'm realizing the cheap price came with a cheaply engineered product.I would never have bought this light if I knew how frustrating it would be, and would not recommend this to anyone.

Very easy to install, really bright. Just what I needed to light a dark staircase going to the basement bought 2, set one to night and one to day (darkest part of the stairs) working great so far. One is installed q5 feet up, works as soon as the outside door is opened, or when getting to the landing. The other 9s installed 7 feet high and detects even before getting to bottom of stairs

Used this to light the far end of a recently extended hallway where adding conventional two-way switching would be really difficult. Didn’t need or use any of the supplied fixings, which are a bit ropey anyway - just fixed direct to ceiling and extended the integral cable via a terminal block then wired into lighting loop up in loft. All works fine. Good colour temp light - not too cold. Could do with a bit more range on motion sensor and possibly an always on/always off/auto switch on the side ( I found that laying flooring in an area with motion-sensed lighting can be maddening!). Some adjustment of the on time would be nice too. Oh, and if you have dogs that enjoy night-time wandering, that might drive you nuts as well, but that’s not a problem with the light!Recommended at the price

Bought this to replace our aging front door light which was never very good , when I opened the package I was sceptical as to whether this was going to be very good as it is quite small and very light indeed (no pun intended) , I installed it in about 5 minutes flat (Don't use the supplied connectors , they are trash) using crimp connectors , I set it to the Auto sensing mode and it works beautifully , the sensor works very well when approaching the door at night time and it's very bright indeed , time will tell as to how durable it will be but so far I'm very impressed for the money.
