The media could not be loaded. This flood barrier worked beautifully! We have a porch that has allowed flooding into our house and we’ve had to replace a floor. Today it would have flooded again but this time the barrier prevented it! Thankfully we have a dry floor.

These have been great. I had sand bags that didn’t work and my garage hasn’t flooded once since I put these out.

I got these things last hurricane season. They work well to stop the flooding. They claim to be reusable, however; you must leave them sit somewhere out of the way and out of the sun (degrades them) and it could take 6 months to drain the water out. My wife finally got tired of them and threw them away.That said I’m happy I had them when it started flooding.

Our driveway is a downhill slope. I placed the tubes at about 60 degrees wherever water was coming down in sheets. The dams effectively diverted water away from the house in heavy rain. Observe where the water is flowing. Positioning the dams correctly will maximize efficiency. I have not tried building a wall with these but they are very strong and durable.

We bought these after our last flood/basement episode (we've had a few) to try and curb off water coming in from a specific area. I'm so glad we did, because this time we were able to deploy them easily and they definitely helped keep more water from building up against the side of the house.A couple of thoughts:1. Put them someplace cool and dry to store in the bucket but go ahead and open the bucket beforehand. It's a couple of pull tabs that could frustrate someone if you're stressed a trying to open them.2. Make sure you have enough both length and height-wise. These WILL bend a bit if you want them to so you don't have to plan out in straight lines.3. Have rocks or something heavy to weigh them down when you lay them out.Overall, definitely getting more for when we need them again!

When my product arrived the kit was supposed to have five 10 foot bags, It only had FOUR. We needed the product in use immediately, so returning the four to get a refund or reorder was not an option. We had to use the bags right away to stop flooding. I am very glad to say that the product works excellent and effectively stopped the water, even with freezing and thawing. Great product, but double check your package has what you ordered in it.

They work but require wetting them well first. Lighter than sand bags. Takes a few weeks to dry out but go back to original shape. Very easy to store when done.
