Perfect for my Epi SG
They came packed well, the wiring looks top notch, and they sound terrific! 5 stars for looks, fit and finish. Wiring is a very nice braided conductor, with pre-tinted hot wire.Bridge reads 8.5k neck reads 7.95k.Clean tones are very clear and good separation of strings. Heavy tones... it does the thing!I couldn't have asked for anything better, and got more than expected.

Well worth the money
I very rarely leave a review but I just couldn't help myself.i bought these pickups to put in a chibson im fixing up and it made a world of difference, the sound is clearer and richer than my $700 epiphone les paul,in fact I'm going to buy a set of these for the epiphone as well

Seems good, thumbs up
Well made product. Fits well, no hiss or feedback issues (if you install it correctly and have good electrical connection)It did sound a little dull on the low end, but that could have been my setup to blame.

Low Output, Cheap Hardware
I just installed these today (I've done at least a dozen pickup swaps with success, to get that out of the way). These pickups have a slightly lower output than the stock pickups I took out, which were Epiphone Probuckers. The hardware that came with them didn't fit well, and one of the screws stripped out while trying to raise the neck pickup closer to the strings. The plastic film/covering that was on the bridge pickup was very sloppy, bunched up with gooey adhesive. It left a nasty residue on the pickup. All in all, I am not very impressed with these, even for a generic brand. I've used other cheap pickups for project guitars such as this, to include Warman (UK) and Wilkinson. In order to get the pickups raised to the desired height, I had to lay the guitar on the floor and push with a lot of weight on the screwdriver to get the screws to turn without stripping them. I couldn't get the neck pickup where I wanted it due to the lower screw stripping. Good thing I rarely use a neck pickup. The force necessary to keep the screwdriver from slipping nearly cracked my pickup ring.

Hearing is believing!
Took a chance on these pickups for $30 and I really can't believe how good they are. I've been playing guitar for about 20 years and have guitars with much more expensive pickups and these are on par with them. Just an FYI, I installed them in a les paul and the neck pickup wire just barely reached the potentiometer with no slack left over. I am using orange drop caps and they are a great match for them. I would recommend them.

Work Great !
Used to upgrade a kids starter guitar and it made an improvement in sound quality at a low price.

Sound great, but a bit microphonic
These are a great value for the money, but I withheld one star because they are supposed to be wax potted, yet they are fairly microphonic. They do sound really good, quite vocal. I installed them in a baritone solid body, and they handle the sinister low end very well. Installation is a snap, as they are 2-wire (one inner lead with braided outer shield for ground). I may take them out and wax-pot them properly myself (slow cool). Definitely recommended.
