I actually was disappointed the price is high for what it tells you

This is a pretty comprehensive and easy to understand guide to help anyone demystify their blood test results. If you want to tell your ALT from your ALP, know your ideal Hb levels, understand what blood pressure readings mean, then it’s all here in a single (rather expensive!) book.A worthwhile resource for people having regular blood tests, such as those recovering from cancer or suffering from chronic illness.My only quibble is that it doesn’t have an index, and for someone faced with a print out of blood results, they may not necessarily know which section of the book will cover which result, and an index would really help with this.

This is one of the best books I’ve read so far! With language that is detailed and eloquent but still easy to understand, I would recommend this book to anyone and everyone that is interested in understanding more about their results. With the clear breakdowns and colourful pages, this makes an enjoyable read while simulateously offering insight into what the tests indicate for your health. A must buy for all!

This book was actually helpful and useful for my understanding. It provided an insight to what usually feels like a very complicated process for patients. What’s more is that the author made this for people to feel more comfortable, with a detailed account of how to read reports, thus making it a less daunting process for me!
