L-Leucine arrived on time and in tact. No odor or smell upon opening the bag. The product does not have a flavor. I’ve been adding it and creatine (also from Bulk Supp) to my Hydration drink. It does not dissolve fully, but not an issue for me. I just shake well before taking each sip. I may try it in my iced coffee.I’ve only been drinking it for 2 days, but will report back with results. No gas, no stomach upset.Updated (1 Week):Still no side effects or gastrointestinal issues. Progressive load and endurance in gym is much improved. Increased muscle pump (glutes/hams/quads).Since this product Does not fully dissolve in cold, warm or hot liquids I would suggest adding to a smaller quantity of fluid, and drinking all at once. I currently had been mixing w/hydration or Xtend EAA and sipping throughout the day, but by the end of day, product is at the bottom of vessel.I added to my hot coffee, product did not dissolve, floated to top, but also added a ‘peanut like’ flavor to coffee. Going forward I am only going to mix with 4oz Hydration fluid and drink at once.I’ll still leave 5 stars because supplements just simply have nuances and we just have to figure out what route & dose is best for us.

Leucine seems to dissolve in hot tea if collagen is added. And the bitter taste of Leucine blends easily with tea. Havent tried it with cold tea yet. According to AI, Leucine prevents muscle loss while fasting 😁 it promotes strength, energy and speeds ketosis. Just started, I'll get back to you if I get remarkable results like joining the Olympics

Very hard to dissolve. They say to put it in some liquid and shake it up and that does help but it really is a hassle dealing with it. I have a couple pound package that’s gonna take me a year to use so if I find a way to dissolve it I’ll let you know

Through some research I've discovered some important things about when and how to take Leucine.Do not's:1) Do not take before your workout. Leucine stimulates the production of glycogen from glucose, and simultaneously prevents glycogen's breakdown into glucose, so you won't be getting enough energy to your muscles during your workout.2) Do not take leucine without food or in a fasted state. if you want to prevent catabolism, or muscle breakdown, take HMB. Leucine should be reserved for times you want to promote muscle synthesis, or anabolism.3) Do not take leucine consistently throughout the day. Leucine can cause insulin resistance when taken in large amounts and too consistently.4) Do not take in the morning. This is not an optimum time to build muscle anyway, as your body's natural cortisol spike is then. Wait until afternoon/evening.Do's:1) Take leucine with meals. Leucine signals muscle synthesis, so making sure you have the protein, carbohydrates and nutrients to go along with that is key. Taking leucine with a meal ensures you'll get a useful spike in insulin, and the body can get straight to building muscle.2) Take leucine intermittently in spikes. Choose a large meal toward the end of the day to take your leucine so you're body will have a lot to build muscle with and can build it while cortisol is low in the evening and while sleeping. On days you workout, taking it with a meal after you workout and a meal in the evening can still make sense. Avoid taking it during every meal during the day to prevent insulin resistance.So, a proper dosing schedule would be a tablespoon with dinner, and on days you have an especially heavy workout, a tablespoon with a meal after working out and another teaspoon with an evening meal before bed.

This was tough to mix in with a drink. It did not dissolve and the after taste was rough. Effective but gross

This product is falsely advertised unflavored.It actually has horrible flavor that is bitter and sour and unable to mix with anything in order to mix so the flavor can be masked. But the product is total fail as far as flavor.I contacted customer service for bulk supplements. Sadly is also was a fail, because they only give partial refunds even though the product quality is there issue. And they will not cover shipping costs.I copy and pasted out dialogue hoping they change their policy for returns and take more responsibility for their business.Tc916 RcDec 14, 2023, 18:30 PSTHello, I was referred from Amazon to make contact here because this company doesn't allow returns.The issue is a quality issue pertaining to your L-leucine powder that is described as unflavored.It def has repulsive bitter to sour flavor.
