Works perfect for factory Joy-cons
Great unit, works perfect with OEM controllers. it lights up clearly showing you when the controllers are charging, and goes green when they're done. I've seen things like this for much much more then this unit, and do the same job.

Nice little charging dock
I just received this a few weeks ago and so far its doing exactly what I need it to. Colored LED's are nice and bright and let me know if any of the joy cons are still charging. Since it only engages the bottom inch or so of the controller, the track it sits in is shorter and makes it easier to slide it in and out. Its essentially the same form factor as the OEM Nintendo PowerA dock without me having to pay Nintendo the $30.00 they wanted for it at Christmas. Switch is pretty cool but there is nothing about it that is inexpensive so I was looking for a good alternative. This is it.

Great recharger for our new Switch controllers
This recharger is so simple it just works. You slide each controller vertically down into their seated positions and they charge. Simple! When a battery needs charging the light changes to red. When completed the light changes to green. My only reason for docking one star is that the green light stays on whether a controller is left in the recharger or removed. It's always glowing green, which is a tad bit annoying in a darkened room for watching movies.

Looks good, works well.
It's simple and an attractive addition to the Nintendo Switch. When you have multiple controllers it also makes it easier to charge them, so you no longer have to wait for one set to be finished. It's small enough that if you choose to you can put it "out of the way" and it can be plugged into the Switch itself, or into a wall charger.

I like it, it works great at charging 4 joy cons at once
Soo I do like this charger a lot. it is lightweight and easy to move around and take with me. The usb cord that it comes with to charge the entire thing plugs right into the side of the switch. Green light.. ready, Red light.. not charged. easy enough and now my boyfriend and his teenage daughter and myself can all play at the same time without having to pass a joycon around to share because 2 are dying. I would recommend. Charging isn't the fastest but if you just plug them in when you aren't using them, you should have fully charged controllers when you come back.

I works, good price.
It does what it is meant to do. It charges my joy one and tells me when they are charged. Also the light on it is not obnoxiously bright as I thought it would be. Looking down on it it is bright but sitting back with it next to my TV it is not bad at all.

Never worry about your joycons not being charged!
I'm a controller freak for some reason. I use the Switch mostly for get together with friends, so I want to make sure everyone has their choice of a quality controller so we're all on equal playing grounds. None of that 2nd player MadCatz controller in this household. With that being said, I'm often confused with what joycons have been used and are charged. I also forget to dock the Switch sometimes. So naturally, I searched Amazon for a solution and stumbled upon this charger. The stand looks pretty nice and it comes with a USB C to USB A cable to charge it. Out of laziness of my own, I have it hooked up to my PC's always on USB 3.1 port, so even when my PC is off, they still charge. I've never timed how long it takes to charge them, but they're always ready when I need them. The nice thing about these are there are red/green led indicators that let you know if the joycon is charged. I haven't tried using USB-C to USB-C or connected directly to the Switch, but I'm guessing it works the same. Does the job it advertises and looks nice on top of my PC so 5 stars for me!

Inexpensive And Works
I had to get 2 of these so I saved even more. They work great. I light the lighted bar feature because you can see if it's done charging or not. I do wish though they had an on/off switch once they are fully charged, but whatever. All in all a great buy for me.

Disappointed
Both the shipping box and the product box was damaged.Sent a used item as the box was not sealed (already opened). The alignment of the joycons with the dock is off, there is more spacing between joycon and it's holder on the left as compared to the right. The clipping of the joycon to the charger is loose, a slight bump and the joycons are detached.
