They work!
These solved my flickering LED problem. I had been through several types and brands of bulbs for my overhead can lights in my kitchen and family room. Every time my dishwasher ran, the lights would start flickering. These did the trick, though. No more flickering.

Ten Years of Development & Improvement of LED Lamps
I bought these to replace 10-year old Philips LED floods. Those floods consumed 13 W and produced 740 lumens of light (when new). These new BR30 LEDs consume 15 W and produce 1400 lumens. They are almost 60% more efficient than the best available 10 years ago and dramatically brighter. With an LED-rated dimmer, they dim smoothly. Totally silent.. When I'm looking for LED replacements for incandescent lamps, I look first for products from Philips. I've never been disappointed with Philips.

Five stars with caveats
The media could not be loaded. Just installed nine 7.2W 2700K bulbs on the same circuit with an 1100-watt Legrand-Pass & Seymour dimmer. They replaced 65W incandescent floods. Went from 595W to 65W. Should have done it sooner. Cannot tell any difference between the light color. They look just like the incandescent. Flood pattern looks the same as well. This was the most important criteria for us.No flicker nor problems with dimmer control. Our dimmer has a on/off paddle switch with a side slider on a 3-way. There is a delay turning on dependent upon the dimmer setting. With the dimmer set to maximum, my guess is the delay is around 250ms (emphasizing guess. My brain is not that accurate). The delay is not a big deal. With the dimmer set to 50%, the delay is about a second. At the minimum dimmer setting, it takes about 1.5 seconds before they light. I got the same results for a single circuit bulb. If you put these on a dimmer switch as described, and leave the setting low, you might want to look for a different bulb. We leave our dimmer set between 70 and 100 percent so the slight latency is acceptable.Tried them on a dimmer that had no switch,. Only a slider. They worked fine. No delay. The same goes for a circuit with no dimmer.I did detect electromagnetic interference (EMI) using an AM radio (around 530kHz). It could cause problems with poorly shielded devices near the bulb. One review mentioned it caused their ceiling speaker to buzz. Again, not a big deal for us as our dimmer switches and our other LEDs emit EMI as well. It has not caused us any problems. These are not expensive bulbs so there are tradeoffs as mentioned above. I was going to give four-stars but they passed the wife test so that bumped it to five.Video shows dimming without flicker nor delay

Works with dimmers, no flicker, NO PWM DIMMING, a little slow to come on.
A LOT of LED bulbs that "work with dimmers" use PWM dimming, meaning they are essentially strobe lights that are strobing at a speed faster than you can detect. This can be terrible for people like me that are migraine sensitive. These Philips LED bulbs are not perfect, but they don't use PWM dimming, so I'll take it. They are a bit slow to come on, the dimming isn't completely smooth, and they are a bit more white than regular soft white bulbs. But they are bright, work with dimmers and don't flicker, so I'll take it!

Truly no flicker
My electric company cannot routinely fluctuates voyage in Chicago. Old bad grid. Tried ecosmart-flickered. Tried Sylvania flickered. Tried Feit- like a strobe light. I was ready to pay a ton for fee remaining incandescent bulbs. Tried these NO FLICKER!!!Best bulbs the government makes you buy, no choice but LED.

No Flickering!
I replaced all of the recess lighting in my kitchen from EcoSmart LED (Model A20BR3065WESD28) with these Phillips LED BR30 Indoor Reflector Dimmable 7.2W bulbs. While they are significantly more expensive, it’s worth it. I am using the Lutron Caseta Diva Smart switch dimmers, and my lights would constantly flicker each time the HVAC fan turned on however, these Phillips lightbulbs don’t flicker at all! They did arrive in an OEM Philips box, and one bulb lens/cover was physically damaged and another bulb didn’t work at all, but I just assume that was a packaging / shipping issue.

Amazon selling "Used and Refreshed" Phillips light bulbs
Danger. I ordered two 12-packs and had good results. I ordered 6 more 12-packs and in one of the 12 packs five (5) of the bulbs did not work and 3 bulbs and the bulb cover (plastic) detached from the bulb. The bulb was full of white glue holding in the electronics. The price is attractive -- but just say no - these bulbs clearly have been rebuilt in some shoddy operation. Amazon, shame on you!

Has a turn-on delay
The older version of these lights turned on instantly. These have a delay. It's not long (maybe half a second), but noticeable especially when installed next to the old ones!
