My husband absolutely LOVE black licorice..but not the sugary store bought variety. He just love these because they are all about flavor not sugary goop. These are robust with real licorice (anise?) flavor. He keeps a bag in the fridge at all times and has a few pieces every night..it's his favorite happy snack

Flavor is different from the licorice candies I'm used to. These are made in Finland, and they are not as sweet, but if you like licorice, I think you'll like these.

This is the best black licorice I have ever had! Soft, perfect amount of chewiness, just the right amount of combination of licorice flavor & sweetness. Highly recommend for flavor & priced just right. Definitely will buy this brand from now on.

I've eaten a lot of black licorice, but never one with flavor this intense. I tried to get used to it but finally gave up. I plan to return to the milder-flavored soft licorice from Australia or New Zealand.

Having traveled to Europe in the past I came across a delicious candy company from Finland called Halva. My family and I tried several of their products during our visits to Europe but when we got back home couldn't seem to find any stores that carried their products. But now they are selling them directly via Amazon! I ordered a case of strawberry and a case of regular "black" licorice. They arrived to my house in 1 day and are soft, fresh and delicious. I'll definitely be ordering more from Halva..
