Fantastic Read
I'm a parent and bought this book so that I could better advocate for my son's needs at school. I'm a former special education teacher but knew that the approach my son with suspected PDA needed would be different and non-traditional. I wasn't even sure how the school could provide for his needs but this book really helped me understand how to school could actually help. Not just that but it really helped me as the parent understand his needs better. The most insightful part was about needing an anxiety management plan instead of a behavior management plan.

Very useful. Lots of good advice
This is an excellent book for teachers and parents trying to get into the mind of a PDAer. The usual ASD approaches rarely work and leave carers scratching their heads as to what will work. Lots of strategies born through real experiences of trial and error. It helps to know what doesn't work and why too. Highly recommend for all professionals working with ASD children and teens.

Practical strategies for use
Really great practical advice and strategies. My son shows a lot of PDA in the classroom, so I bought this for his teacher to help her learn about PDA. Definitely not just for teachers, great for parents too!

Quick read with practical advice for many students!
While the focus of this book is on students exhibiting characteristics of PDA, I found a lot of the tips to be usable for all students. A quick, worthwhile read!
