Challenger ATR 3
Early feedback after a couple ~15 mile runs. The toebox is noticeably wider than the Challenger 2s (a shoe I absolutely loved) and is a welcomed improvement. Compared to the Challenger 2, the tongue is more cushioned and the shoe strings are sort of elastic; two features I'm not sure about yet. Through several mud sections I felt reasonably stable. Gravel, dirt and road all performed as expected. The shoe rides similarly to the Clifton 3. Overall very happy.

Perfect trail shoe
This is my eighth pair of Hokas and as with all the others, they are perfect for the purpose for which they were designed. Tha ATR 3 is ideal for trail running with the thicker more lug-like sole. I wore them right out of the box on an eight mile run(intended only 3)and they were comfortable and very stable. So much so that I extended my intended break-in run.

Most comfortable shoe in its class I have ever worn - make that any class. Love 'em.If they came in wide, I'd prefer wide, as I have a broad forefoot/high arch. Nonetheless, these feel great, and the snugness upfront should diminish with wear, based on my experience with the Hoka hikers

I love it because my foot have nerovs mean little bit swollet under my foot bottom. I had size 10.5 that was too tight and my under bottom foot is pain. I really happy, use that new size 11.5 It fit and I run that won't both me my under bottom foot. Mean no pain. I want to Thank you for send me new shoes size 11.5 Great.

Absolute Garbage
Quality is absolute garbage. I used these sneakers on trails only and the tread became unglued and fell off. This was within a short period of time too. My first and last Hoka product I will ever own. Currently now running in some Salamon Speedcross 5s and they have held up excellent. My feet are not picky at all with shoes so can’t judge comfort.

Great Ride and Light
I've had these shoes now for 3 months. I run through rocky, hilly terrain and the ride of these shoes are great. I'm not sure how they made such a light shoe have the cushion it has, but somehow they managed it. The ride is easy and smooth, I can hardly feel any of the rocks on the trail, and I'm close to 200 lbs. Also, they are tight and don't migrate when running up or downhill. They also have surprising grip on the trail as well. Well Done HOKA!

Great shoe, the fit is a little bit more tight than I expected. They seem slightly smaller than a previous pair of Hoka.
Overall, I like these shoes. I'm always reluctant to buy shoes online as it seems like no two pairs ever fit the same. The shoes are nice quality, but just a bit more snug than I expected. I had an earlier generation of Hoka of the same size, and they fit better. This is one that I would either buy, or at least try on, at a local retail store before buying again. A nice shoe though.

Awesome shoes
These are by far the best pair of running shoes I've ever owned! Perfect for either trail or road

Comfortable with great support...pity the black sole began to fall off!
Had these for just over a week before the black sole started coming away on one of the shoes. Pity, because these are impressive. comfortable with great support. I would say that they are slightly smaller than normal fit (even compared with other Hoka shoes). However, not enough of a difference to make me change size between the different trainers. If this quality issue is a one off and I have been unlucky then I would recommend these. Certainly seems that there are other good reviews.Even though I am returning them, I do like them. I would have worn them out if they had been built correctly!

On Saturday I did a 100km race and they were perfect(in terrible conditions: mud/rocks/snow etc) Unfortunately after the race I
Ran 160km in them. (in 11 days)Fit perfectly. 11.5UK(46 2/3) same as with other Salomon speedcross I had.Last year I had a slab Speed size 46(but they were a bit tight). On Saturday I did a 100km race and they were perfect(in terrible conditions : mud/rocks/snow etc)Unfortunately after the race I checked them and I saw that the black sole starts to leave the shoe...I did not expect to see the shoe falling apart so soon. I`m accustomed with running for over 1000km in some shoes.(I had 6 salomon shoes for over 1200km, not ideal i know...)I will not return the shoes because it will take too much time.(30 days?)As for Amazon shipping was really fast. It gave me enough time to run a bit before the race.I`m giving 2 stars because I still think is a good shoe but durability is a problem. Maybe next version.

Believe the hype
Finally decided to try Hokas after acquiring a dodgy ankle and chose these as the upper is more robust than some of the other offerings. Have to say I'm a convert, they really reduce the hammering on your joints and give a super comfy ride. I have broad feet and went a half size up, they fit perfectly. If you have narrow feet you might get away with your usual size.

Hoka challenger atr 3
The hoka challenger atr 3 runs half size small, I recommend to order half size or 1 full size up depending how you like your shoe to fit!
