I read so many reviews and tried on several pairs of hiking shoes before deciding on these Merrell Moabs. I've worn them on several hikes and long walks and I find them comfortable and they offer good support for my ankle and my arch. Plenty of room in the toe bed even though my feet are pretty wide - in fact, I'm wondering if I should maybe have sized down by a half size. Hard to know, but overall I'm very happy with this purchase.

I LOVE these shoes. I've been wearing Merrell's for years & they are so comfortable with great support. I have always paid around $100 for them and was pleasantly surprised at this incredible price of $57.50. I kept expecting there would be a catch, but there wasn't!! Buy them at this low price while you can!

Bought these specifically for my morning 2-mile walks on a gravel road. The soles on regular athletic shoes are too soft and don't hold up long with the abrasiveness of the gravel. I could feel just about every stone after the shoes had worn a bit.So far these shoes are great. Soles seemed to have been designed to be tough but pliable. The toe box seems to be just a little bit bigger that normal (standard width ordered), but not too much to make the shoe really sloppy.Would have given these shoes five stars if not for the fact they have canvas loops instead of eyes for the laces. Eyes seem to make the shoe easier to lace, Also, I need to see if these shoes hold up to the abrasiveness of the gravel.

I absolutely love these shoes. I have flat feet and have had plantar fasciitis in the past, so many shoes that seem perfectly reasonable end up hurting my feet. These shoes do not - they are amazing! My feet are narrow, but I hate it when my toes are mushed, and these shoes allow me enough wiggle room to make my toes happy, without making the shoes fall off. They feel very light, yet study.I take short hikes with my dog daily, about a half hour walk through the woods full of mud and snow. They are very study and can support me even when my dog thinks she's a sled dog.Added bonus: I can slip them on without having to tie and untie the laces, which I love because it seems like I'm always taking my dog out.Another added bonus: they are super cute and actually make my 8.5 size feet look smaller!

I chose vented shoes because I frequently have to walk through water higher than ankle deep, I was happy with how quickly these dried out. I live in a place where it only gets “cold” two months a year, and hardly ever goes below 50°F so I can wear these year round.They feel clunky or hard when you’re walking on concrete or in your house because these aren’t made for walking or running on smooth flat ground. Once you get on the trail it’s like you put on a completely different pair of shoes, they’re very comfortable.I usually wear an 8, but I got an 8.5 and they fit perfectly. I also usually get wide running shoes but the regular width fit me perfectly as well. I don’t have any problems with these shoes, I love them and they’re excellent for the price point.

I had been looking for a pair of these for a while, found these at a great price on Amazon. Super comfortable and the price was unbeatable!
