ZJQ New Xeno Chip for GC Gamecube/Game Cube

Best $4 I've ever spent. Easy to install (just get a fine tip for your soldering iron as it's a lot smaller than I thought it would be), quick laser adjustment and within an hour I was playing burned games. I would also recommend an actual security bit. I used a small file and made one out of an old flat screwdriver but strabbed myself several times in the process.

Not a difficult install but don't attempt unless you have a fine soldering tip iron. Buy an extra chip in case you make a mistake in soldering. Expect a long wait for it to arrive as most sellers ship this from China.
